Good evening.Myself and my partner have visited twice now and what an experience. The food is amazing but the staff go above and beyond to make your visit very special. Nothing is too much trouble. Very warm and welcoming. The manager made time to come and speak with us throughout our time there to make sure we had everything we needed. Any wait to have a treat and visit again.Thank you againKirsty

Stayed for 2 nights B&B recently. Spectacular views. Breakfast was very good indeed. The room however would benefit from some TLC. The carpet was stained, as was the ceiling. The curtains are frayed at the edges. The bed has only a few inches of access at one side. The shower has no screen or curtain. Breakfast staff deserve particular mention for the service with a smile.

Fantastic place, staff are absolutely first rate and couldn't do more. Unfortunately the food wasn't great. Over salty fries and uninspiring mixed leaf "salad" weren't good with my burger. My wife's Caesar salad also left a lot to be desired.

Visited for a colleagues retirement meal and had the private dining room for 20 of us. A stunning location, amazing food and atmosphere, rooms (stayed in The Suite) fantastic overall a very luxurious feel to the place. As well as the evening meal we stayed for breakfast too, I recommend the 'Full Yorkshire', marvellous start to the day! Will definitely be back.

Stayed in the junior suite last night , the suite was perfect.6 of my family came to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious, everyone of us enjoyed our meal.Staff were very friendly, they could not do enough. We are all definitely going back.

Lovely dinner, rather busy as they also had a wedding on. Service was good, food lovely. Will go again when budget allows.Only negative was the dismissive attitude of the lady on reception when we paid part of our bill with a gift voucher we had been given as a thankyou by friends. Left on a bit of a down note.

I had always loved the 3 acres and had many lovely meals with my family for 20 years+. It was the place I wanted to get married and I had my heart set on it. After emailing and phoning the 3 acres, I arranged an appointment with Laura, the events manager. When I turned up I was early and told them I was happy to wait. Laura came and greeted me and it was all fine at first until I realised she thought I was someone else and gave me that person’s quote. It then hit me she had booked my spot with someone else and hadn’t even prepared a quote for me… I spoke with her Tuesday and then we met on the Sunday. The person who she thought I was only spoke to her the day before and managed to supply her with a quote as she mentioned this while talking to me. It made me feel disheartened but she assured me she would send me a quote and took down my details for the second time. I still have yet to receive my quote and it has become clear to me I will not be having my dream day at the 3 acres where I originally wanted and maybe this was a good warning to not spend all my money with them when they cannot book an appointment correctly or even send me a quote. I hope no one else has had the experience I have had, this was supposed to be a day where I am suppose to be excited about potentially booking my wedding but instead I was left feeling upset and like I was not worthy of their service.

Went here for a 60th birthday meal and my god. As soon as you walk in its amazing... Such a good amount of detail in everything. The ornate fireplace. The staff were very professional and couldn't help enough. My only gripe... We had the three courses... I chose steak for my main, it came as three thin slices of steak as opposed to the piece of meat I had in my head. But I guess that's my issue... The cocktails are amazing!! Xxx

Private dining as a surprise birthday get together, the team were excellent and couldn't have done anything more to make it an unforgettable experience. Helpful, friendly, and the food was second to none, with generous portions!! Would definitely recommend.

Service always excellent. Food normally also excellent. However, this last experience left us non-plussed as the dishes just weren't up to the previous standard. For example, the saddleback pork chop was just a basic chop with white beans but for the princely cost of £26. We were expecting something displaying more culinary aptitude and were thus disappointed. The rind which was a substantial portion of the chop, wasn’t even crisped and was therefore inedible. Despite this, everything tasted nice but the skill level of the dishes didn't compare with previous visits. When you pay a premium, you expect first class and this experience wasn't up to expectations.
