Oh dear, what a shame when there is one staff member working like mad and three just stood about doing nothing and not been prompted by the manager! There is one lad collecting glasses and doing tables and not one of his collected glasses have been washed and he now has no where to put them! They are stacked all over bar but it hasn’t motivated the bar staff to move or wash them as they appear happy to work around them!!

Me and the wife called tonight, and all the staff were on their phones, and we had to wait whilst they had finished before we were served, and this included the manager. All the staff were not interested in any customer service at all apart from one guy who was working all the time we were there and he was exceptional a really hard working guy and I would hire him in a heart beat. The staff are really bad and need to grow up and not have their phones on them at all as they are there to work and not be on their phones all the time a shocking visit.

Went last night to grab some food and a beer after me and my friends finished work. Bearing in mind that my boyfriend is very clearly over 25, and that we were in a group where every member was 24 (apart from me who is 21), he was ID’d and since he cannot afford ID they refused to serve him and went as far as to kick us out AFTER we had paid for our food. Our friends who arrived before us were still finishing their meal and drinks however, and I had come to see them, so the staff made us wait outside in the snow until they had finished up.Staff were extremely rude and unreasonable and my 3 friends who had got there before us said that their food was disgusting and rubbery, and that even the kitchen staff were nasty.Staff were extremely quick to shove us out as well, had multiple of the waiters stooping over us to make us leave when we had done nothing but be cooperative. We tried to (politely) argue our case and say that it would be extremely weird and creepy for three 24yr olds and a 21 year old to be hanging out with a 17 year old but they just suggested that we were creepy.DO NOT GO - they will steal your money for food and drinks if you look anywhere under 30.

cluttered with dirty glasses and plates, staff working at snail pace and in no rush to starve or tidy up. Tables sticky. In need of some serious money spending on it. Does not compare to the other Wetherspoon establishments in the area.

Me and my lady friend went thier yesterday. It was a meeting place, where we could grab a meal and enjoy the ambiance. We both ordered a cheeseburger and chips. Also a cup each for hot drinks. There was no milk or sugar left for the hot drinks. The staff had already proved that they didn't have the time or patience to top up.So we bit the bullet when it came to the hot drinks. The worse was to come! Two plates were placed on the table.I had 11 chips on mine, my partner had about 17.We had to go and forrage for sauces again. We found the sauces, after asking a customer where they were.Eventually getting back to our plates. The chips were absolutely bland and dry.The burger faired no better. We paid extra for a plastic cheese slice that disappeared somehow. There was a soggy lettuce leaf underneath. The burger itself was absolutely tastless and loaded in grease. There was grease dripping down my hands whilst trying to battle through it.All in all it was a horrible experience. The food and service was awful.£13.50 for the privilege.I don't ever complain, but this place had given me just cause to do so.Horrible experience.

Delicious scampi, lukewarm chips-served by a gentleman who looked liked he was in the condemned cell, hence the rating of 'four' instead of the usual 'five' I give this fine establishment.

Full English with Beer 🍺 at 10am. JD Wetherspoons, the only place you can served beer from 9am. That was why I chose this place. Plus free parking at Tesco.

Exterior looks far grander than the inside. But the staff are very welcoming and the food and drink were served really quickly. As with all spoons the food is inexpensive and well worth the money you pay.You need your mountaineering gear to climb the three flights of stairs to the toilets!!! No car park on-site but a small free one just up the road.Well worth a visit if your in the area!!!
