We went to eat here today for a birthday and the food was amazing as was the service! All the staff were so lovely and I wouldn’t fault it and would definitely recommend to anyone who loves good food and a good environment to be in

Come here with my little family. The place wasn’t busy yet quite a wait for food. Ordered kids pasta and it was like it’s been sat in fridge overnight and heated up. Was over cooked and dry. They didn’t eat a thing. I got the most expensive burger. They forgot the onion rings and gave me horrible ale gravy that ruined my whole meal. Complained at the bar. They wasn’t even bothered. Last time we will be eating here !

We visited the Wacky Warehouse at the Walnut Tree on a busy afternoon during the Christmas/New-Year holidays. The place was very busy, but the staff were competent and unfazed by the noise and bustle all around them.We ordered drinks, and they were delivered them to our table in seconds. We entered through the pub, which was pleasant, and welcoming. Everybody seemed glued to a sport event that was on the televisions. The toilets were clean. There is a car park for patrons.I would definitely return.

Although the service was prompt and nice the food was..... Well something to be desired. We had the classic roast, beef and chicken. Let's start with what was on the plate, the veg, part of iit was frozen (as in out of the freezer veg) part seemed to be fresh, the (s)mash was powder stuff and not made from fresh. It was also so thick you had to cut it and it was a really unhealthy colour. Now for the main role of the show.....the chicken 🐔, it was rubbery. It was either the cheap reformed stuff or kept warm to an inch of it's life (well life might be the wrong expression as it's dead) or has been microwaved before serving. Surely it doesn't take that long to cook from fresh. I mean we are prepared to wait for our food longer than 5 minutes, as that's how quickly it was served. Which again raises the suspicion of the the microwave. But that doesn't mean we're not going to try something else on the menu but definitely not the classic roast. You really want to work on a solution for it.

Lovely pub never too busy really. The food is good and so is the price.

Attended a kids birthday party with my daughter. She enjoyed herself very much in the soft play area. The food spread was pretty good too and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Popped in for lunch as had good experiences before, not this time sadly, place was nearly empty, which was fab, but it was swarming with flies! I counted 7 by our table alone, I ordered a breakfast, food was rock hard & inedible , the usual "everything ok with your meal" question was asked & when I pointed out the food was inedible & the prevalence of the flies, the young waitress could not of cared less, her attitude absolutely stank, she just said oh & scuttled away, she didn't even thank us or say goodbye as we hastily made our exit! Be a long time before we return if ever!!

Very warm, welcoming, well presented and professional staff. Excellent customer service. Food was lovely. Very clean, tidy and spacious throughout. Nothing was too much trouble. Very nice atmosphere and one member of staff specifically stood our from the rest. Samantha was extremely polite, well mannered, portraying excellent customer service skills, always smiling and went that extra mile to ensure our visit was comfortable and enjoyable. I would highly recommend the Walnut Tree to anyone local, or anyone who may be visiting the local area. Very child friendly too.

Excellent customer service. Went with four children last week and the Staff took great care that they had everything they needed. The children's food was well received. My daughter and I had steak and I think chef of the day needed to know which was medium cook and this was returned from both plates..as it was rare..but on saying that the food was replaced very quickly. Big thank youto the Manager Naoimi and her kind and friendly staff who really did show nothing too much trouble 😀 😉
