Wimpy in Kirklees

Incredibly clean restaurant including toilets, fast service and great friendly service. Food was to a good standard for Wimpy and very fresh.

Closed 30th March 2022! No warning, nothing mentioned on the website, drove so far for a birthday and not even open!

Just called today for a takeaway lunch and it is just how it used to be. Even got the same gorgeous food and Sarsons vinegar! Service was great and the Owner/Manager practices strict social distancing with the customers. He is very helpful and friendly and very organised.

It's the closest one for me from Newcastle upon Tyne and my only fix to get my Wimpy Half Pounders. My favourite burger in the WORLD! Well worth the 2 trains to get there for birthday treat and get away.

Thank you for the wonderful table service and the scrumptious food and drinks. From very 3 happy wimpy fans. See you again. Beth, Kelly & Jack xxss

I remember wimpy from my youth and am saddened that there aren't many of them left open.It really is a treat being in here. The food is wonderful and it's served by attentive staff, on a plate instead of in cardboard containers. The price is a little more than the popular clowny burger shop, but the quality and service is a million times better. If you're celebrating something, or just enjoying a day out, I really recommend coming here. It's really fabulous.

Not been to Wimpy in ages so on a visit to Huddersfield thought I'd find it was right in the town centre. When entering plenty of hand sanitizer and was shown to a table loads to choose on the menu will definitely be coming back with friendly staff to help 👍

Decent burgers, speedy service and friendly staff. P.s Try not to bombard your customers as soon as they walk through the door, give them chance to sit down before asking to take the order!

Wimpy, not just a place that sells burgers. So different and so much better than thousands of others. No it's not McDonald's. Things take time to make and come on a plate but that's part of the whole Wimpy thing.Really good food and milkshake on the day I went with very friendly and helpful staff.

Nice food at a slightly more expensive price than other places, but it is definitely worth it for the taste.
