Mediocre, I had gammon but couldn't taste it, everything else on the plate was nice and the chips exceptional. My nephew had rump steak and again everything but the steak was cooked well and tasted nice but the steak was not nice, couldn't taste steak at all. I assume the flavour was from whatever it was cooked on.The staff were great they were friendly, very attentive and prompt, no complaints there.

Service was lovely by Graham, Charlie and a young lady I didn’t get the name of. Food was delivered In good time, hot and delicious. Not been since the change in service and menu, but was explained straight away. Fabulous service. Thank you.

We have been coming to this establishment for over 9 years for all sorts of family events and meals out and have always had incredible service, quality of food and drink and an inviting comfortable environment. A special thankyou to Lee (the chap that served us) very polite helpful and ensured anything we needed was met with a smile ! Well done guys and gals.... again awesome place food and service 👌

Had a lovely meal today and was served by the lovely Charlie. Nothing was too much trouble for her and I would never have guessed she had only been here 1 week. A great experience, staff friendly and a new menu plenty to choose from. Definitely recommend Yorkshire Rose.

Great pub near Huddersfield town ground. Great food(sit down) good range of beers and plenty of staff. Lots of outdoor seating. Family friendly, away fans welcome. Great spot on match day. P On street parking at rear.

I was dubious about visiting the Yorkshire Rose again, the last time I visited there was a very poor value 2-for-1 menu with indifferent service and a tired atmosphere to the place. Visiting this weekend was a lovely surprise. We were greeted on arrival by a friendly and knowledgeable waitress. The menu had changed, table service was friendly and professional. The food was good, the staff a credit to the restaurant, specifically the young waitress and the lady with the stunning rainbow hair. Will certainly return and recommend

The location of this pub is ideal especially if you are staying at the Travel lodge that is behind. All the staff were very good and they all had a smile on there faces and were very welcoming to everyone. I was particularly impressed with who I assume was the landlady. She runs a very good pub with a mixture of different patrons, groups, couples, families and she makes sure that all her staff accommodate and welcome everybody.

Service was really slow. Was seated at 5:30, drinks didn't arrive at the table until 6:15. Our waitress was very apologetic and clearly under a lot of pressure, more staff needed if they are to offer decent table service. The food was okay but not all items were available from the menu which was disappointing also.

Food was good! The chicken was slightly tough but the colourful haired manager came and sorted it straight away. Staff were smiley and happy. Will definitely be going back! The manager there is a credit to the company and really enjoyed our visit!!

Lovely bar and restaurant. Staff are always really welcoming and friendly. Good prices for too and drinks. We stay in the Travelodge next door to the Yorkshire Rose when travelling down from Scotland to visit family and it's always a pleasure to visit.
