Cosy homage to all things North Brewing Co. What’s not to like!

I remember when north bars were real beer bars with a decent selection. They may as well just be tap rooms for their own brewery now. Very disappointing.

Lovely bar right in the heart of Meanwood. Large opening frontage facing the afternoon sun. Great range of beers and lagers.Staff really helpful and friendly. Well worth a visit

We popped here during a lovely sunny evening stroll.We chose to have a glass of Gose 3 fruit fermented beer.Gosh Gose was gorgeous.Lovely spot bathed in sunshine. Lovely big outside in style windows and seating.The Bar lady was fab very helpful friendly and COVID stuff was present without being in your face.We’ll definitely be returning.Thank you

Nice little bar with a good selection of beers and helpful staff. However after looking at my receipt I realised I was charged £7.20 a piece for drinks advertised at £4 which really confused me. If I knew thered be hidden charges I wouldn't have tipped.

I bloody love Alfred. It's mine and my boyfriends favourite bar in Meanwood. The ale available is always so good and the atmosphere is always great. The staff are amazing and make you feel so welcome every time you are in there. I love this bar and would recommend to anyone! Maybe not if you have a huge dog or a big pram as it is quite small, but I think it adds to the character of the place!

Great atmosphere. Just nice and calm. Music is in the background and conversation in the forefront. Nice selection of beers that change. Yeah. I like this. Not tried the food yet, if the beer quality is anything to go by then it may well be a winner all round.It can get hectic, a few deep at the bar. That is when the noise level rises and for me becomes too much. If you want a chilled quality pint you cannot go wrong here. If you want quiet contemplation, pick your times . I will however be back such is the diversity offered here.
