Ambiente Tapas Restaurant in Leeds

Absolutely superb. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful, supplying me with first rate information to help with my gluten intolerance while still providing an excellent range of dishes that I could try. The sherry flights were amazing and very reasonably priced, and the wine was excellent.There wasn’t a single dull dish on the menu, and between four of us we got through a good part of it! I had to order the artichoke hearts again, simply because the first order was eaten so quickly. Altogether a wonderful dining experience from the staff, to the food, to the atmosphere. Will definitely be going back!

WOW!Quite possibly the BEST Tapas we've had. Ever.All dishes we had were AMAZING!It was a last minute decision to come here as we were just passing. So glad we did. It is now our favourite Tapas place.Staff very friendly and good speed on food and drinks.5/5 for everything.We eat out a lot so know good food, you really won't be disappointed!

Probably the best tapas from Leeds!Came here on the recommendation of a friend, and I don’t regret it.The waiter who served us, knew what he was doing, went with us through the menu and the wine options. Customer service 10/10!The food taste, smell, plating 10/10!I was well impressed by the food taste, and their desserts are from a different planet.The best part is at the end: not expensive at all, taking in account the restaurant position, and the food quality. Definitely this became my favourite place!

Really welcoming and good service and absolutely great food. Highly recommend, we went as a group we didn't have to wait to long for each course but at the same time didn't feel rushed at all. The food amazing we had about 7 small courses with so many different foods and every course was better then the last.

We enjoyed the food. The menu didn't have anything that jumped out at us but what we ordered we enjoyed.Unfortunately they don't cater for children but that's ok.Would have been happy to give a 4 star but unfortunately service was lacking.Had to leave my chair to ask for mayo.I even arranged the plates for easy table clear away for us to feed the little one while entertaining him but even that took some time to happen.On a plus the staff seemed pleasant felt they were smiling behind the masks.

Never had Tapas before but would again, 3 of us ordered 3 plates. The food arrives whenever it’s ready so that means one person might get all the food at once and someone else gets one dish then a 15 min wait. The food was amazing.

As tapas goes this is pretty good! The quality of the ingredients, menu options and the presentation were all 10/10. Reasonably priced and a great selection of drinks including their speciality sherries! The staff are happy, polite and professional and the service was quick. I’ll definitely be back here and want to thank all the staff that waited on us on Saturday. Highly recommend.

Oh dear! Paying £100 for a 4x tapas dinner with only 1x beer and 3x soft drinks looks a rip off.Thinking seriously in setting up a Spanish tapas, with genuine top tapas in large portions at great price.Ham croquetas were mega big and not tasty, bravas were poor, meat empanadillas werent what they meant, desserts were poorly chilled (Santiago tart over dried, and the only vegan dessert nasty, under the opinion of the 4). Definitely this Ambiente Tapas chain is overrated and food quality only average.20211113 @12.30 second opportunity with much greater experience (crowd moves quality down). However price/qty has an awful bad balance (i e. Ham croquetas have only 3!!!)

We ate at one of the York branches a couple of years ago and weren't bowled over so were never inclined to visit the Leeds Ambiente until we walked past while hungry! While the exterior of the building is lovey the restaurant entrance doesn't have much kerb appeal, although inside is a different story and is really stylish and very inviting. We opted to eat outside on the small terrace and everything was excellent. The menu is varied and the tapas portions are good. We ordered 9 tapa between three of us (two adults and a child) and it all were excellent, very tasty and well presented. Good selection of Spanish wine and the staff were very friendly with excellent service. Highly recommended.

Disappointingly just average. Previous visits were excellent but the food this time was not up to the same standard. We had to send a couple of dishes back and to be fair, the guys sorted with no hassle whatsoever.
