Arcadia Ale & Wine Bar in Leeds

Went into Arcadia as a group of 7 Persons and were looked after very well ( Table Service only) it had a very knowledgeable and affable Young man serving us. The range of drinks was good , with something for everyone. Nice atmosphere, shame it closes at 11pm in these modern times.

Pretty much faultless in terms of beer selection and condition (of the cask offering) and the staff. Beers were so good I had a little tear in the eye - a rare and treasured thing.

Great bar and good covid countermeasures at a time when everyone else has abandoned theirs..

V good selection of beers in a civilised space. No fancy dressed and loud Otley Runners, you can watch their antics outside.

Polite & friendly staff. This establishment had no empty glasses waiting to be collected from tables I highly recommend visiting.

Great place for a drink. Lots of options of draft beer and spirits. Staff really know their stuff about the different drink options. They don't allow fancy dress which avoids the bar ending up rowdy with large groups. The decor inside is interesting lots to look at.

We were there last night and had the exact same poor experience as Philip Winspear, in a previous review. Although the beer and surroundings are lovely, the strange, dogmatic approach of the staff, implementing covid rules, is so off putting we would not return. We were spoken to more than once like naughty children. We were all happy to abide by any rule to reduce covid but there's a nice hospitable, welcoming way that this can be done, which was sadly lacking! Could do better! ;-)

Always been a fan of this place, helpful and knowledgrable staff. Great beers. A tad expensive but you get what you pay for. No music, large groups or fancy dress, which provides a haven on the busy Otley Run student trail. Dog friendly, great atmosphere

Snooty staff.Table service only.All staff wearing masks or grubby snoods.No prices on the wine menu, apparently "most people don't ask"No recommendations for beer when the requested one wasn't sold.Exceedingly quiet, so much so you feel like everyone could hear your conversation. (Great for grandma) oh except the menu was only available from scanning the qr code!!!!Extensive list of beer on said qr code, yet no description of the taste of each ale.It was so bad the most laid back, kind person in our group didn't want to drink there.We left.Heaney and Mill was a much better option.

Best pub in Headingley so far. Close to the cricket ground. Good tap selection. Free wifi
