Still great - even though appears to have changed hands since last visit. Only got chips- cooked in vegetable oil so great for all diets but (arguably) not as tasty as animal fat. That being said... all happy faces and no complaints from our family order! Most items cooked to order so may have to wait a few mins but all the better for it.

Proper fish and chips and polite staff The gentleman was lovely. Got my granddaughter sausage chips and gravy when we popped to see her at uni .All food was cooked really well .Would definitely go again x

Haven't been in here for years. Lovely gentleman served me first time second time a lovely lady. Fish and chips were lovely loads of chips enough for 2 people.

Terrible management guy doesn't seem to know what hes doing. He ran out of chips and was turning customers away due to this and wasn't polite either. Food was ok but nothing like it was when former owners were there.

The fish & Chips tastes just like a freshly made batch unlike other takeaways. Worth every penny to get you a fish & chips deal on a Friday night. Value for money.

Very nice, the lady at the counter was very friendly, I hope they put a sign on the road side as it is set back a bit and I only discovered it by chance. Oh and the food was nice. I think this place has been a chip shop for about 150years. It still has the old fashioned tiles in it.

I don’t usually leave reviews but my haddock and chips was the best I’ve had. White succulent fish and chunky chips. Not just that fastest fish and chip takeaway delivery ever. Thanks for being amazing. I’ll be back

This is a good chippy, one of the better ones I've had in Leeds. Bring it next door to the Chemic to have your fish and chips in a sit-down place with beer. It can't beat, in my opinion, Kirkstall Fisheries, but is certainly way better than average.

I visited this shop during my visit from New Zealand. The young lady serving was wonderful and chatty and gave me an insight into what people call fish and chips ... wunce...I am told is term elsewhere..I had some scraps with mine. Onto the food itself the fish and chips were fantastic. The batter was perfect and nothing was too greasy. Lovely fat chips..thanks for a great feed in Leeds..

The chips were cooked just right, and they were right size to eat. Liked the boxes they were in too, classy. Used to live 4 streets up from this Chippy years ago, different chippy then but a look says had our Thursday tea from there. Good quality take away food, will go there again.
