Great food, very attentive, efficient service in a relaxing atmosphere?

I booked a few hours in advance. I had great personal service. No need to use the app. The waitress was excellent, timely, polite and friendly. The beer was cold and tasty, exactly what was required on very warm March day. The salami pizzas and the pulled beef were really excellent! I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience! Well done Ask Italian, you are doing it right!

Service excellent, but while not awful, some of the food was not quite up to standard, and my guests had not wanted to say during the meal, for instance pasta too firm- harder than al dente.

If I could leave zero stars about this particular restaurant then I would. I made a reservation for tomorrow evening ( 5th of march) to celebrate my 42nd birthday as I love Ask Italian. I get an email this morning saying they can not accommodate the 5 of us. I am absolutely annoyed as this booking was made on the 22nd of February so in advance and they cancel the day before. Shocking customer service! I spoke to the manager Harry who made excuses about the system and just said oh we are extremely busy yes that is exactly why I made a booking. He suggested moving times but I made a specific time for a reason and to be honest he wasn't that helpful. I have eaten at quite a few restaurants within this chain and have never had any problems at all. I will be contacting the Head office too. I have now got to find somewhere else at short notice so thanks for that. You need to sort out your online booking service or give more notice when cancelling someone's reservation.

Hmmmm. Not great. I wouldn't go back. Staff don't seem "with it" and we had to send our pizza back as the goats cheese was cold ie it went back in the oven. We were told that's how it comes. I have never EVER had cold goats cheese on a pizza. Manager said he liked it .... so that's ok then, glad someone does. In fairness he did compensate us. We ended up laughing about it which is better than crying! Oh and brushetta bread was dry and underwhelming. Mushrooms were good.

Food was good but the front of house was exceptional. The two ladies who were working smashed it, perfect level of service, not too much yet still fast and attentive. Broke up a lot.g drive very nicely.

Nice reasonably priced food with a good view over the river on the edge of Wetherby. The staff were really friendly and attentive without being pushy and on a hot summer day the hand made lemonade was ideal. Overall a really nice place for a meal out.

Haven’t been here before. I really like the tomato sauce and the shrimp in the dish. Great staff and service. Love it.
