Behind the Town Hall in Leeds

Food was mostly good - veggie burger bland, pork partly uncooked, roast good, fish & chips good) Service was good until we were kicked off of our table half an hour before the end of our booked time as they’d ‘taken a phone booking’. Staff didn’t deal with it well when one of the party was rightfully annoyed at the fact the new booking was more important than one they had for us. So unfortunately 1* for the terrible service & non-apology.

Beer was spot on. Didn't eat but the Sunday lunch looked amazing. Would recomend this place on a Sunday afternoon for a quiet pint 👌

8 of us went for a Chrismas drink. The food was great but above all the staff could not have been any better. Best service I have experienced in a pub for years THANK YOU!

Booked table ,arrived to find table squeezed in corner and surrounded by a party of Xmas goers.No sensible access to table or a good dining experience as promoted.No common sense alternative offered by on duty manager.Good place to dine when quite but beware when busy ..Manger has my complaint and I await to see if recieve a reply.

This was a great find! The food was probably amongst the best pub food I've had recently. The staff were great as well. They were fully booked but still managed to find us a table! Well worth a visit. I'd go again.

Way better than I remember it from last time I was in some years ago. Large range of Tim Taylor's beers. Food looked good although I didn't eat. Amazingly, everyone was talking to each other rather than looking at their phones. I can't give the pub credit for this but it was a pleasant sight!

Really nice food and a good choice of Timothy Taylor's beers. Pleasant atmosphere. Found out whilst we were there that they offer a 10% discount on your bill if you are going to a show afterward, you just need to show your tickets. Would certainly go again.

Thoroughly enjoyed a stop off for a pint or two of Landlord dark just one of a good alround selection of real tasty ales.The staff are so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, a real pleasure to meet them.The huge surprise was the amazing food! I cannot believe the quality of the homemade burgers we enjoyed, with crispy onion rings and the most perfect chips ever! An excellent pub grub choice at real value prices. My colleague, a real burger fiend, was brought to say ‘probably the best burger I have ever had’I concur, will definitely be returning. Thank you for an unexpected wonderful beer and burger evening
