Lived in Leeds for 39 years yet today was my first visit, for a solo lunch.I ate in one of the restaurant areas but would also have been very happy to sit in the public bar.I can very much recommend the place; the steak and ale (proper) pie came with a delicious gravy, and was served by a friendly team, who were happy to "show and tell" me around this historic building.I will be back soon, next time with friends.

delicious home made food and beautifully presented. Good beer and wine selection. Would have been 5 stars if not for the issue over service.

Visited last week for first time since over 20 years ago and I certainly was not disappointed, it was always first class service and excellent food with a very reasonably priced menu. Friendly, professional and attentive staff making you feel very welcome and an enjoyable experience, and most importantly all very genuineThe beer garden is still a quaint and relaxing area to enjoy a drink and eat out in the summerNothing had changed it was all top quality with traditional restraunt values over 20 years ago and still isThanks guys !! I absolutely recommend this place to anyone wanting a top class meal with classic country style and service !!

Went here today with my daughter and son.We absolutely loved every minute of it.The food was incredible and the staff were even more amazing. Cath and Karen showed my son around because he was very fascinated by the history. When we were leaving cath helped me get back to my car as I am disabled. The service could not have been better. What a great place

I really liked the menu and atmosphere, I wasn't really happy about our table for 2 which was like being in the corridor between the main rooms. I didn't let this put us off as its a lovely old place and the food was very good, next time I will ask for a different table lol

The Bingley Arms is a beautiful historic building, in a lovely village, it was built in 953AD. In fact its that historic it has a blue plaque on the wall outside. Inside is just as historic. Original massive oak beams, huge stone fireplaces, with priest holes, the place is just stuffed with history. The staff were just lovely, it was quiet busy but they got on with the job with a smile on their faces. The food was very very good, delicious. Good portions and very well presented, the wine was very good aswell. We will defo be going again and if you go make sure you read about the history of the pub, its in a frame on the wall. It really is fascinating. We loved it.

Wonderful atmosphere with great food. We made a special trip to this pub because it's the oldest in England. It did not disappoint! The staff even went out of their way to show us all the historical features.... Priest holes, tunnels ect. Clean and covid safe, we highly recommend a stop in.
