Fabulous gluten free fish and chips everyday (when open) without having to preorder. Such a great treat to go any day and get the best fish and chips without hassle.

Looked lovely a really big fish but batter was really soggy When you got past the outsideSo no sorry not the best fish I’ve ever hadWas also disappointed that the person cooking and serving didn’t have a mask on. And one customer came in not wearing a maskIf shops now have to ask customers to wear them doesn’t that also include takeaways

Possibly the finest gluten free fish and chips I have enjoyed. Cooked to perfection, nice size, flavours and textures. I can highly recommend to any fellow gluten free person. My family enjoyed the regular fish and chips very much also. Well done and thank you.

If you say gluten free every day, you can't just not serve gluten free fish becuase you're "busy" with no one else in the queue behind me. Especially if you have a nice sign outside the door proclaiming that you do with no caveats.

Awesome! On hols this week just down the road so we tried them tonight. I was born and raised in Bridlington and both my sisters have owned and run fish and chip shops so I think I know what I'm talking about. The cod and haddock were so succulent. The batter was so light and crispy. Oh, and the curry sauce wasn't the watery fruity type it was old school with a bit of kick. It could not have been better. Thank you Bondgate Fisheries I will not forget this holiday.

Just moved to Ripon and tried Bondgate Fisheries for the first time...best fish and chips ever! They beat our favourites at Saltburn or Skipton with their beautiful fresh fish, lovely light and crispy batter and tasty chips, no greasiness to be found. And you get to have a nice chat whilst it cooks.

Visited Bondgate Fisheries as usual local chippy closed. New owner since last time I visited which was years ago (and not very good). The owner said we wouldn't be disappointed and we weren't: lovely fish and chips cooked perfectly in beef dripping and good portions. Good fish and chips is all about the quality; if you only serve 1 thing it must be good or the customers won't come back. Will definitely come back!

Lovely fish and chips that we enjoyed on a bench by a picturesque stretch of canal nearby.Haddock was the nicest I'd had in ages and the couple who run it were very pleasant and chatty.
