I enjoyed my sirloin. It was decent! Took off one star as the menus at my table were sticky with beer smells

I visited this Pub with my work colleague and two individuals we Support. Before we reached to the door the Manager James came to open the door and hold it until, we were all in. he made it easy for us to enter the building as, I was pushing a wheelchair. He was very pleasant, greated all of us. The service was very fast, The food was cooked by Chef Scott and it was absolutely amazing. I will be visiting this place again.Thank you James

This place is just okay, not the place it use to be which was really good. Food has good up in price which I don't mind that but the chicken was dry ,some of the peas were like bullets. Waited over an hour for food . Better pubs out there at better value for money and service .

Absolutely horrible experience me and girlfriend had at the Bridgewater Arms pub. We had to wait over 40 minutes for food and it was not even busy in the pub. Food did come hot. But it wasn't worth the 24 pound price tag we paid for. I was recommended this place by my girlfriend as she said this was THE pub to go to. When we walked in there was sick stains on the floor the tv was cracked and then we had to deal with the 40 minute wait for the food. It was greasy and not worth it. We would have to wait longer if we didn't ask a member of staff where are food was. The kitchen was dysfunctional and there was only 2 waiters dealing with the whole pub. The toilets looked like they haven't seen a cleaner in over 5 years and one of the locks in the gents toilets was broken. Well to clarify there wasn't even a lock. Also the food we got was a american chicken burger and a fish and chips. With the chicken burger it was too cooked, there was way to many chips, the bun was burnt and in my girlfriends words "the chicken in my burger didn't taste of chicken, all you could taste is the charcoal of the grill". For the fish and chips the chips was hardly even cooked, the tar tar sauce was like tarmac, the fish wasn't even a fish more like a tiny little cod with a dollop of batter.I will not be coming to this pub again. The pub was dysfunctional, short staffed, over priced, run down, and just not worth the money.

Decided to go here for afternoon lunch. Arrived to find the tables full with dirty plates and glasses with only two members of staff rushing round trying to clear the dirty tables, work the bar and take food out. Could see they were rushed off there feet and being overworked. Ordered food and it took ages for it to arrive. We weren't the only table waiting. Staff were clearly trying there best. When food came it was OK, nothing special to write home about. Clearly need to have more staff on.

We had a very pleasant steak meal here, it was quite busy with a good atmosphere. Loses a star as much of the menu was unavailable, though it was 2 January. This is very much a restaurant, not a pub as such.Staff were friendly, helpful and made the visit very pleasant. Suitable for young family. Recommended to order meals via the Greene King app. Sunday evening we did not need to book. Prices were standard, not expensive, but not cheap either.Toilet facilities were clean. Loads of free parking.

Myself and 4 other family members had a table booked at the Bridgewater on Friday 7/01/2021. When we arrived Brandon showed us our booth and was very friendly. I ordered the Big Mexican, my niece shared the chicken n mix challenge with my brother. The staff were very accommodating and Lauren brought her an extra plate. The standard chick n mix and a cheese and bacon burger were also ordered. the food was spot on. The last few times I've been its been 'alright', but everyone commented how great it was. My meal totoslly hit the spot.. I was stuffed but very happy! The chefs Lewis, Ellie, Cailum, Alicia and Courtney did themselves proud! Thanks for providing us lovely meals and maming it a great evening! I thanked Brandon for everything and he kindly provided me the names of the staff so I could thank them in this review.

Tasty food, generous portion sizes. Place could do with something more glamorous for desert serving ( was served with big spoon and a simple soup bowl) and decor could be refreshed a bit. Other then that, staff and kitchen seemed to be functioning extremely well and great return for the value.

Chicken wings come as what I would describe as fried, in some kind of batter. Not was was expecting so got a refund. Then the app messed up on payment for deserts which were all lovely kids n r lass loves them.In relation to the app mix up and wings issue staff members Beth and Ellie went above and beyond to sort out.Brandon our original sever also deserves a memtion
