Overall experience was amazing in Browns - The light , Leeds Branch . Food was so tasty, service was very good and ambiance was very decent. It is bit pricey but worth visiting .

Impromptu visit to Browns for coffee and dessert to meet my girls. The delicious coffee came with a lovely caramelized biscuit. We had difficulty in choosing the dessert from such a delicious selection. It was fairly quite at around 3pm and we were sat in a cosy area with a green velvet sofa catching up and we chilled for a while. There was some nice background music and we definitely will be going again if I need a caffeine fix. The toilets were nice and clean.

Had really high expectations from this place and planned on returning before our first visit but that certainly won’t be happening now.To start, we walked into an almost empty restaurant with staff chatting and laughing while we stood waiting to be seated. Eventually we were given a table, awkwardly seated between the only other parties that were in the place. For some reason they seemed to squeeze everyone into one tiny corner or the building which myself and others were confused about.Service was rather poor although staff were friendly, when they actually spoke to us and took a break from leaning over railings and shouting to each other that is.The final nail in the coffin of this horrific visit was the food. Overpriced, bland and boring. Again, had high expectations but the burger I received was double the price and half the quality of my local burger van. My friend ordered a sandwich and for £15, we expected slightly more than a few tiny, bland pieces of chicken and some lettuce. We were planning on ordered the lobsters and steaks for two but it wasn’t available on this day and I’m thankful for that in hindsight as we saved money in what would’ve also been overpriced and bland food.Total for all of this plus two cokes was just under £50. For some reason that staff added the service on without even asking which was laughable but we didn’t kick up a fuss so I hope they enjoy the £4 they earned from sitting around laughing and chatting.Very disappointed and if you could provide me with an email to complain more formerly, that would be appreciated.

Great food and fantastic service. My Sirloin on the bone was Cooked to perfection. A must visit if you are visiting Leeds

Food was decent. Waitress had to recap the order multiple times, drinks were a bit weak for the brunch and dilute. The aesthetic of the restaurant is lovely. Had to amend my booking time slightly and the receptionist was a bit blasé over the phone. I'd expect better service for the cost. Menu does not cater for allergies very well.

Had a fabulous meal here, food was excellent! Frankie our server was fabulous, polite and knowledgeable. Gave excellent food recommendations. I had the shepherds pie and lamb rack... My only complaint is i wanted more lamb rack, but that's because it was so good.

Such a great place. The building is beautiful and the atmosphere was lovely including the staff. I came in by myself for an early breakfast and I loved it especially as they were so accommodating to my dietary needs 100 will be back with friends and family! Thank you

Such a good time at Browns! Came out for some brunch. Food was tasty and George provided immaculate service and tended to us incredibly. Highly recommend. Would be nice if they had a few more veg options :)

Gorgeous building and atmosphere. Veggie options aren’t the best and ravioli tasted a bit bland/watery but my husband loved his steak. Desserts were super yummy!

Dropped in at browns on the off chance as we were let down by the restaurant we had booked. What a great decision. The atmosphere is great it feels spacious but cosy at the same time. Couldn’t fault any of the food. Service was prompt and friendly.
