Cafe Barthez in Leeds

Hygiene left a bit to be desired and the owner obviously hasn't heard of social distancing. He also had his mask round his neck the whole time we were there but didn't put it on once.

What a delicious coffee, I only had credit cards no cash but he kindly let me have them saying I could pay another time. Gestures like this are always remembered and he'll get plenty of my custom in future. I'll be back tomorrow to pay him.

Café Barthez is a very good Café with plenty of choice .. Good food and friendly staff. It's right next to Pudsey's Wonderful Park.. We go often not to be missed.

I remembered this place as a nice friendly cafe with good food that I hadn’t visited in a while and was in the area. Ordered a full English large breakfast which arrived promptly however the mushrooms were undercooked and what was supposed to be bacon was more like spam I’m assuming some kind of European Alternative I also took the assumption that it was more about profit margins than quality of food. I must admit that I did not say anything to the owner about this as I felt that the produce was not something he could correct. I do hope that you might go back to using normal bacon as I left feeling underwhelmed and disappointed. I wish that I would have gone somewhere else as it wasn’t value for money.

Really nice food and pleasant staff would highly recommend it.

Serve,s good drinks , a wide menu selection, Community hub with a wide age range ,busy morning breakfast crowd, kids menu and veggie menu too. Seating outside for smokers and non smokers , Come and visit and see for yourselve.s.

Really nice little cafe. It's an old school greasy spoon, make no mistake, but it's clean, friendly and the food was delicious and generously portioned. Surprisingly nice coffee too.

Best breakfast I've eaten in a month of Sundays. Loved it.

This cafe is lovely, not up market but great cosy atmosphere. We have had food and drink and the owner is brill with the kids.
