Such a lovely little cafe with a wide variety of food on the menu , was also pleased to see that they cater for children. The staff are so helpfull and friendly , will definitely be popping in again for a lovely cappuccino :-)

Cafe Fraiche is certainly the best cafe in Leeds. Their foods are always amazing and fresh plus their staff are so kind and welcoming.

My partner and I called in for the first time today and the guy who was cooking is very rude. Talks to the lady (who is so lovely) like a 2nd class citizen. He came across to the table and crabed the menu but we hadn't even ordered! The cold sandwiches said they came with salad but no salad when arrived. He seemed very angry with life. Will never go there again.

Been meeting a lovely friend here, once a month, for quite a few years. The staff have always been lovely, even when just one woman serving & rushed off her feet with takeaway orders during lockdown. The food is great and excellent coffee.SO - totally bewildered today when the manager wouldn't take our order for coffees and fried egg ciabettas. He seemed very flustered telling us it was a 20 minute wait (we were fine with that). The cafè was busy, but all customers bar one already had their food and drinks. I politely tried to clarify that our order wasn't an option, and he screamed at us so loudly - "lunch menu only!" (They don't have a specific 'lunch menu'). & "we're not a sandwich shop!"Sorry to post this, but he really was incredibly rude.

Good food, good coffee, nice and friendly staff... apart from the owner. I called up to place an order and he made me feel bad because he was busy (he misunderstood my words). I don't really want to buy from people that make me feel bad for placing an order so I called to cancel and he hung up on me.It's not my fault that you're busy. In fact most business would consider it a good thing! I've also noticed on the bad reviews that he tends to make excuses rather than be accountable so I'm expecting something similar below.

Excellent service from the minute we arrived, breakfast was great value for money and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely return and recommend.

Believe me the food is incredible, I ordered a smoked salmon panini. It arrived in a good quality bag, what you would perhaps expect from a delicatessen. To my suprise, it had a fresh salad, on one container and fries in another. Extremely reasonable and fantastic quality. The gentleman who runs it is a nice guy, whilst I was waiting another man arrived to collect food with a little girl in his arms, the owner gave her a little treat, so nice, it costs so little and means so much. It restores my faith in human nature.

Popped in for some toffee lattes and lunch. We ordered an Eggs Benedict and a Mediterranean Flame sandwich. Food and coffee was great, tasted nice and was still hot by the time we got back. I parked right outside, but it can get a little busy here. The lady who served us was nice, the location is great, it just near to the Leeds Liverpool canal and the river Aire too, so quite handy if you enjoy walks along the river. They've normally got tables outside too, so will pop back in when things return to normal for some al fresco lunch.Definitely worth a visit 😊

Very welcome break on our walk down the Leeds / Liverpool canal. Serving meals and hot drinks to takeaway, and has a customer toilet.
