I've been a few times and each time the fish and chips have been excellent but the star of the show is the Sunday Bombay street food selection. It is a real fusion of Indian flavours with proper fish and chips. I had something that resembled a chip chaat and it was sensational.A very minor nitpick would be that I prefer my fish and chips wrapped in paper but it's hardly a valid complaint.

Amazing food and lovely staff! Had some pineapple fritters which were incredible, you can get them on Sundays, I would 100% recommend this place, thank you!! I will definitely be coming again.

Excellent- Sunday menu exceptional; my tongue was doing flips it was so flavoursome- outstanding service- Generous portions- Decently priced- It even satisfied my french associate, which is not an easy feat

I asked what I should get to guarantee a second visit. Got the Bombay Pakora Butty, it looks like a bit of a mess 😂 but it was so nice, 100% coming again to try out more of the Bombay Sunday Menu

Was a bit wary about trying this place but that was a mistake. Honestly one of the best in Leeds. Fish, batter, chips everything cooked to perfection every time. The boss man Zak is a star. Hadn't realised it was cash only and he let it ride with a smile. I returned a full week later to pay up (my bad) and he was still friendly and talkative as ever. Great food, great staff, great vibe.10/10 regular Friday thing

Cardigan Road Fisheries never fails to provide delicious, high quality, fish and chips and now, Sunday specials! Excellent customer service and always great food.The masala fish, served on Sundays is exceptionally wonderful. Very good taste and adds an Asian twist to the regular fish. The home-made, vegetarian pakoras are soft and nice and filling. The mint sauce on the masala fish and pakoras adds a beautiful taste. I loved the boxes the food comes in, and one portion is fairly large (enough for two people)As a regular customer, I love this place and would recommend it to everyone!Thank you!

Best fish & chips in Leeds! Cooked to perfection, the shops very clean and the staffs are all so friendly and engaging! Overall perfect customer service but the best thing is the amount you get for your money is so good! This has now become our go to fish and chips shop!
