Excellent range of food - enjoyed a sandwich and a pint whilst on a quick work break - honest!

Really accommodating Team. We were visiting Emmerdale experience and had to reschedule the time, nothing was too much, brilliant customer care! Trio of roast was huge, beef was rare and succulent, vegetables cooked with a bite, fish and chips was flaky and tasted of fish. Absolutely delicious food, highly recommend - thank you Team for looking after us 👏🏽👏🏽

We stopped at this at this lovely village pub on the way further North.It's 10 minutes detour off the A1M.Nice selection of well prepared food at very reasonable prices and a good selection of local beers. The host wasveryvwelcoming .Worth a visit

We hosted a party for over 50 at The Duke and NOTHING was too much trouble.Ten out of ten for: Communication, venue, cleanliness, food – including portion sizes and drinks.I’d strongly recommend them – they also have a lovely sunny terrace perfect for those summer days.

Nice food but you’ll leave hungry. Burger is a single patty and with cup of chips nothing else. £16 burger should be better. Onion rings and some salad or something… won’t be back.

Lovely staff, and great outdoor seating area. We had a tasty Sunday lunch in the sun and were given massive portions. Will definitely be coming back with family. What a gem!

I've been coming to the pub sporadically over about 7 years and it's had a run of about 4 different landlords in the time who never seem to hit the spot with the food - however the guys who have it now are really doing a great job. I've had a couple of meals here now since the new management arrived (2021) and it's very very good. Quality ingredients, a simple menu, and cooked well. The lunch menu is very well priced too. Keep it up!

Nice beer garden, good service and very very good food (have the lamb curry!).
