Hidden gem of a tapas bar. Authentic and welcoming. Can’t rate highly enough

Excellent tapas choice and quality. Cosy atmosphere and very friendly, accommodating staff.

Laúra and Shaun were the best hosts, we had the most beautiful date night made even better by the fantastic service. The food was exquisite and served quickly and piping hot and fresh- we had Jalapeño croquetas, Chorizo con cider, ratatouille with fried egg, Spanish meatballs and Patatas con garlic aioli. Friendly hosts and delicious food really made it a super special night and we can’t wait to come back :)

The food was fantastic and the service is wonderful.A huge thank you to the ladies in the kitchen for helping me find my invisalign. I very stupidly forgot the case and put the retainers in a tissue instead. I'm sorry you had to spend your time going through the bins. Your kindness and patients saved me hundreds and pounds. I cant thank you enough xx

Such a shame - the food and service here used to be top notch but sadly it couldn’t be further from this now. Tasteless, expensive frozen food that arrives minutes after ordering, stressed out staff and gross facilities.What a loss to the Chapel Allerton hospitality scene. Avoid at all costs - save your wallets and your tastebuds!

Amazing! We went to dinner with some friends and we ordered a little of everything to try; Sangria, Fried calamari, Canarian potatoes, ham croquettes, garlic prawns …and a couple of special dishes. What a delicious treat! The food was very tasty, great flavours and the customer service was súper. We will definitely go back !

The staff were friendly...Unfortunately the food was awful...not authentic at all..! Upon entering the bar you get a feeling of authentic Spanish bar...until you are taken to the cellar for dining..! A dirty smelly and unwelcoming cold environment without any atmosphere or windows to the outside world..The seating is uncomfortable and I can see the rustic look that they were trying to achieve...but at the cost of comfort..! I felt more like a victim than a customer..The menu has been described as extensive.! I would describe it as expensive and feel very lucky if I don't suffer from food poisoning in the next few hours.! Luckily I did leave the chicken that had a hideous odour and taste..!I would highly recommend anyone to AVOID this place for health and safety reasons as well as financial...the chinese takeaway next door is a lifesaver after trying to eat at this place...Good luck to any future victims....You have been warned..

Love this place, visit a lot with the family and the staff are so friendly. The food is also excellent.

Had a lovely meal here. The outside booths were nice to sit in and enjoy the meal. Only knocking a star off because the table was dirty and two of the dishes that arrived were not what we ordered, still tasty though. I'd go again.

Went for a dinner date to El Bareto last night and luckily my boyfriend reserved a table for us. The bar was packed and the restaurant area was fully booked. The food was amazing and the chorizo was indescribable, it doesn't compare to what you can get in the supermarkets. The staff were super friendly although they were busy. We overheard a waitress saying that someone was ill. We ordered 7 dishes, 1 over the limit they recommend. Listen to their recomme station which is 4-6 dishes for 2 people. We were stuffed! The picture of the chicken dish doesn't so justice as we had finished it before I could take a picture. They brought the dishes out when they were ready to be served; they are cooking everything fresh.I cannot recommend this restaurant enough; amazing food, great staff, quality food for the right price. Make sure you book your table :)
