Great selection of cask and keg ales. Tasty food. Recommended. 👌👍

·

Service can be better( as the waiter downstairs didn’t give much attention to the customers needed) the food was excellent (wish the portions of the risotto can be more generous)

·

Great food and drinks, service was excellent. A lovely atmosphere too. We will certainly be back.

Great place in Leeds city centre. Top choice of graft beer and some amazing wines as well. The cheese boards are pretty awesome as well!

We have been wanting to visit Friends of Ham for some time now and have finally managed it. We didn't have to book which was a suprise considering it was a Saturday afternoon. We were led to the basement seating which is lovely and cosy, especially in these wintery months, although it is quite dim there so if your sight isn't the best (like mine) you may need your phone torch or a great partner to read the menu out to you 😊The staff were really helpful and made recommendations as well as helping explain what some of the dishes were. We did have a little wait but it was busy and we were happy chatting. When the food arrived it looked delicious and well presented, although our sharing platter did come out before our starters. On checking they did let us know that the rest of the food was on its way.Everything was lovely and looked beautiful, although the staff could have been more attentive to any further drinks required and to let us know the status of our food.I thought the prices were extremely good, both for food and drinks and we will be returning some time in the near future.

Brilliant. Hadn’t been for at least 2 years. Was really impressed by the quality of service and the care they put into the simple food. It has restored my faith in restaurateurs that take pride in what they deliver. High quality produce, well presented and in enough quantity to deliver value. Great vibe and atmosphere too - amazed we got a table without a booking on a Saturday. Will definitely be going again. Be crazy not to!

Love this place. Lots of beers to try and they do flights, so you can try a few. Meat and cheeses are great too.

·

Relaxed venue but really good food and friendly staff. Good selection of meats and cheeses to enjoy over numerous beers on offer. Some great wines too.Great location for banter over good food and wine. Real hidden gem of a restaurant and worth a visit.

I am 100% a friend of ham. This place offers a lot and you could eat here for a month straight, every day and not be bored. Beers are fantastic, everything is amazing, wish we loved closer!

Cocktails and Spanish platter downstairs in the 'underbelly'. Great food and drinks, could have done with a few more bits of bread/crackers for amount of meat/cheese. Also, REALLY dark down there! Had to use phone light to see menu! Friendly, attentive staff.
