I need to go back with more time and more importantly, with other people. Amazing food, lovely atmosphere and excellent service

The food was very tasty. However, as a party of 4, it was all served at different times and took a very long time to come out. Mine had arrived after everyone else had almost finished theirs. The restaurant wasn't too busy as was a Sunday early afternoon. Staff are friendly. Prices are pretty fair. I'll definitely be back to try again as I'm sure this must have been a blip. Have general heard positive things but can only rate based off my own experiences.

Been going here for 20 years since college. Amazing place best food around

Visited today with my partner and 2 young children. We told the lovely waitress what the kids like and the put a meal together for us that was just perfect for them. Thanks for the great service and delicious food.

Delicious! Food took a while to come but I don't begrudge that when they have so many sushi options to prepare. Had some sushi and then a peanut and chilli noodle dish that was lovely.

terrible service! we waited for the order to be accepted 30 minutes when only 4 tables were occupied. of course the waitress forgot to bring the beer. in general, waiter service lowers the quality of this place. The sushi chef is very inflated. sushi very good carefully presented.

Excellent authentic Japanese restaurant. The food here is genuine Japanese rather than the modified for western ideas, of other restaurants. Its very good quality and nicely presented. Value is excellent and we just had a meal for 2 with a couple of beers for ÂŁ28. Beat that!Of course you can definitely spend more if you choose to.On the negative: the service can be slow if the place is busy and they dont seem to have grasped the standard idea that you sit your customer down, provide a menue then take a drinks order. Trying to order drinks before the meal is really hard, waitresses look everywhere else but at you and even when you dofinally get yourorder in, often the meal arrives before the drinks. It seams that nobody is actually in charge and organising the service.Overall I would recommend Fuji Hero to anyone who wants genuine Japanese dining.

BEST SUSHI the sushi here is literally art and it tastes so nice as well I’m sure whatever you order you will enjoy!! And for the price it’s sooo reasonable

Being Japanese, I have a higher standard of Japanese food than most in England. And Fuji Hiro didn’t disappoint - their Katsu-Don was the best I’ve eaten in Leeds. The whole menu is very authentic, probably being the most authentic varied menu of Japanese food in Leeds. The Okonomiyaki sticks were also a highlight and came garnished with the correct Japanese Mayo and okonomiyaki sauce. Most restaurants offer free green tea in Japan, so It was great to see this offered in Fuji Hiro. And they even had traditional Japanese music playing too.If you’re looking for really authentic, tasty Japanese dishes such as Katsu-don without any pretentiousness, then this is the best place for you. The Katsu-don was legitimately as good as you’ll find in Japan.

Can't come recommended highly enough for fans of Japanese cuisine. Truly authentic and the quality of the food is to die for. If you've had ramen elsewhere at chain restaurants, you haven't had it properly until you've tried it here. I'd also recommend having a deep dive into their sides menu for things like yakitori, kaarage and takoyaki, or speaking to them about the new sushi bar they have. The staff are very helpful and friendly and will usually offer a recommendation if you're a bit lost (the menu is quite large and daunting if it's your first trip). It's a very traditional setup inside (chopsticks & small bowls) although they'll happily give you cutlery if you ask. It's also quite a small venue, which can make sitting larger groups difficult but I've never found any issues.I used to visit frequently as a student in the city and I always make a point of going whenever I'm back in the city during a year - it's just that good.
