G-Wu Restaurant Bar Takeaway in Leeds

A must place to visit for the very best Chinese food in Leeds.Please book early as the restaurant alway very busy to avoid disappointment.It’s taken me two attempts to book a table.We had a fantastic starter for two and chicken chow main.Washed down with a cold beer it was a great night out.

Love this restaurant, the food is awesome, the best Chinese in Leeds by far. Staff are very helpful and attentive. Booked G WU several times and I have never had a bad experience.....will be back soon

Never fails to produce the highest quality Chinese restaurant food. Just delicious! If you've never been here, add it to your must go to list. The sharing starter (not keen on squid so I swapped to salt n pepper chicken). A special mention to the Fillet steak in black bean WOW.

Not worth the £71 I paid! Had to re do 2 of the dishes because they got the noodle order wrong, got home and it was like eating chicken and veg in cornflour water, no flavour whatsoever. I expect a lot more for the price I paid and their reputation. Will think twice before I order again.

We tried G Wu once for takeaway and it was okay, but coming for a meal in was a totally different experience. The food was delicious. Loved the salt and pepper squid, satay skewers, g wu chow mein, crispy beef and salt and pepper chips. Big portions. Can’t wait to go back.

Was told takeaway would be twenty five minutes but waited nearly fifty five.Egg fried rice was very bland and looked like boiled rice with a bit of egg chucked in, and batter on sweet and sour chicken was raw in places.Food was just warm.Prices quite high for quality of foodVery disappointed

The restaurant was chosen as our daughter requires a gluten free menu.Arrived at our allotted time, once seated we were kept waiting to be seen/served by atleast 15 mins. We ordered drinks at the same time as our order was taken. A further 20 mins elapsed when our starters arrived, no sign of the drinks though! Drinks were then delivered to our table. A further 20 mins elapsed after we had finished our starters when then main courses arrived. I had ordered chicken with seasonal veg. The whole dish was bland and tasteless!The restaurant was busy, but the quality of both the service and food was, for the price extremely poor.I will not be visiting this restaurant again

I’ve ordered from this place a few times normally the food is alrite! But on two occasions the peas av still been frozen now I’ve just ordered food today and it’s like yesterday’s food called up and was told to freeze the food and bring it back when I can for them to give me another order! By the food today I defo won’t be eating there again terrible

Came here for a private party. Excellent host, staff continuously asked if we needed any drinks, food was really good. Had a great night, highly recommend

Excellent find. Great vegetarian selection if you're that way inclined. Otherwise, some delicious food, good service, nice atmosphere.In the event of a zombie apocalypse the upstairs area might provide a reasonable short-term refuge for a group of survivors, assuming they've got a plan for escape out to a more suitable long-term location.
