Food options not shown for children I had to ask. Only got a child’s cheese sandwich and nothing else on the plate, no salad, crudités or crisps with it.My daughter wanted a child’s fish and chips but they would not do a child’s portion.Panini not that warm and a tiny bit of side saladDid not feel it was value for money and a bit lacking. It’s a shame as it used to be so good

Beautiful location but sadly not very good service . It was busy and the manger was rude. They are not interested in big parties regular booking or keeping customers happy.

Visited the garden Room last week - only open for outdoors as per current regulations but it was a lovely day and we had a pleasant afternoon sitting in their outdoor area looking over the park. Staff were politely adhering to social distancing regs, and cooed very well with the non-stop customer traffic! Cakes and coffee were delicious, and the savoury selection looked tasty.Planning a return visit...

I've had some bad sandwiches in my time, but the one I had here recently was by far the worst sandwich I have ever had. It was so awful I took one bite and threw the rest away in the bin. Your chefs really need to think before making them, especially since you charge very very very top end prices for them. An overload of pickle was an understatement.........................

Absolutely awful experience. Extortionate prices, food was mediocre at best, staff were incredibly unhelpful. Limited menu, which is fair given current circumstances, however when we asked what was available he simply said 'what you can see and those hot specials'. Description of food was less than helpful, such as 'loaded chips'... And the man refused to help explain. Avoid

Came a second time to try thier ledendery Brookie. But they didn't have it. Seeing our disappointment the staff made up a special toasted marshmallow brownie with cookie dough ice-cream which was delicious. Thier chip's are great to. We will definitely be back to visit next time we are in Leeds. Thanks again guys for making our Day. Xx

As you go round the mansion towards the left side, you'll find the garden room situated there. Friendly staff with light and airy atmosphere as the large windows, surrounded by great views outside.

Great welcome, order taken fairly quickly, food arrived freshly cooked and tasting great. Staff came to check we were happy with everything - and we were. There was a very nice and helpful guy called Stephan , apologized for noise from table next to us - absolutely lovely 90th birthday celebration!!

It was a few months ago when we visited my father-in-law's grave then decided to lighten up the day with a meal. We were burdened with sadness and we had no energy to argue or resist the abusive food we had! The lunch there came from one of Jordon Ramsey's terrible restaurants. The food smelled and tasted like it was cooked a week ago. It was laden with salt, obviously to keep it edible. Salt was our lunch, the starters and the main course. I have never tasted meat that bad. I didn't finish my meal, nobody did. Asked by the guy there about the meal, my husband summoned some energy to say 'very bad.'!! In other days, we would have said "sorry this is rubbish. We wont pay!" But it was a special day and we let ourselves eat that rubbish and pay for it!!
