Very good 🐟 fish & chips 🍟

Not sure if we were just unlucky but the fish and chips we received were unlike any other I have had in my 40 yrs of eating fish and chips - dark brown in colour not golden by any stretch of the imagination with lots of scraps mixed in. Might be a response to inflation and a desire to make the oil last longer but definitely not the best fish and chips I have ever had

Had fish and chips ( small portion) and cake and chips , Yorkshire style. Both top quality , excellent batter and relatively cheap!. Best we have had for a long time. They had a list of what they did which included fried Mars bar. Well recommended.

Just had a F&C takeout. Excellent freshly cooked fish; best I've had in ages. Good chips. Really pleasant people. Recommended!

Really nice folks, are you Polish ? My friend wanted to sit down and didn’t realise there are 4 or 5 seats in the window. So we sat down and watched everyone in GAY LANE go by. Lots and lots of people, it’s a busy busy place. Food was good and tasty and reasonably priced, not that it bothered me as my pal paid. Nothing fancy but welcoming and clean. We will happily come back again. Thanks.
