Amazing food and customer service. We used to go to another local chippy but they're nowhere near as good and don't get me started on the fish cakes OMG best I've had in years. Worth the wait to have freshly cooked food.

Really tasty surprisingly nice just super slow at serving must of waited 20 mins at least both days on the trot they need another person, one doing the ringing up one dishing out or something

Not good tbh chips very dry and cold a small fish again cold peas cold and waited nearly 30 minutes

Oh my days!!! The best fish and chip shop ever. The second day I was here I had to try it. Thinking it was like any fried fish. It was so tasty and crunchy and so perfect. so good i always go back for more. Love the shop and staff. From your American customer

Gone down the pan! Just had fish and chips from here, well chips actually because there was no fish in my batter, a small flat piece of fish dried out, over cooked, I certainly will not be going back, shame because they used to be good.

Food quality is, as ever, fantastic. However, I cannot recommend anyone visit this chippy at the moment, as they flat out refuse to enforce Covid-19 restrictions in line with government regulations.I witnessed 6 customers inside the shop at once, with not one bothering to wear any sort of face protection. Previously I've seen staff electing to not wear face shields, but instead a facemask that doesn't cover the nose (effectively useless).Do not visit this place unless you think fish and chips is worth the risk of 2 weeks on a ventilator and a lengthy stay in the ICU.Sincerely, a former regular who has lost family and friends to this pandemic.
