Top quality Indian restaurant - the food is very good value for money. Have been many times and the food has been consistently high quality. Staff are very friendly and eager to please.

Never disappointed with food from here. Went with a few friends and we were well looked after as always.

Was in friday night for the first time.yes not bad the staff where magic.i asked to see there tandoor oven t0 which they invited me to the kitchen yes they have a tandor.food was decent .tasty enough.no complaints.handy just next to hotel where i staying.prices are very good.

I was pleasantly surprised, the food was excellent, poppadoms and pickle then had a prawn started, delicious. Then being from Bradford, I would normally have what you may call a classic dish, but I had a special one, third one down on the right hand side of the menu. It's was really, really good. Chapattis where spot on, forget your big posh places, go to Otley. Excellent staff, spoke to one of the guys, he was really passionate about the place. Prices not karachi cheap, but not agra expensive.

This was the first time I'd actually been to an Indian restaurant,I found the staff extremely friendly and efficient, my partner and I shared a pickle tray which I loved, I had chicken pakora starter and chicken korma with rice as I knew it wouldn't be spicy, my partner had Vindaloo which I tried some, was very tasty but very spicy for me, the food was lovely and service was extremely good,

First the bad bits. The restaurant was empty and looked very spartan. Not welcoming at all.My friend and i sat down and were immediately given pickles and poppadoms. The poppadoms were horrible. I literally spat it out. Just tasted of rancid fat.My friend prdered chicken nuggets and chips, which seemed to make the waiter angry as he had already put a poppadom down in anticipation of her having the early bird menu. The chicken nuggets were £6.50 but he insisted that this was part of the early bird menu and we would have to pay £11.95. He got quite confrontational but I stood my ground and said if it was on the bill I wouldn't pay it. I also pointed out that the extra poppadom was untouched as they tasted so rotten.The good bitsMy starter was chicken tikka. It was a very large portion. One piece was so tough I coudn't get my knife or fork into it, but the rest of it was very pleasant.My main course of chicken karahi was absolutely lovely. Very smoky and corriander tasting. I thought it would be dreadful after the poppadoms fiasco but I have to give credit where it's due and say it was very nice indeed.Service was terrible, food (apart from the poppadoms) was actually pretty nice.

Just moved to the area and needed to find a decent curry house...chose Jewel of India and very pleased that I did. I've now had four orders (via Just Eat app). Ordered a variety of things to try the menu. Every time they've delivery 25 minutes before the estimate (which is brilliant) and the quality of the food is top notch. Peshwari Naan, Saag Paneer, all the karahis, the Dopiaza...all excellent. Will continue to try the rest of the menu. Would give it 6 stars if I could.
