Not a good experience. Went on Sunday to kerala restaurant as our favourite restaurant was closed and just regret going there. The plain dosa we ordered was so greasy and the masala dosa’s filling was tasteless. The chutney was freezing cold. Ordered the thali but that was awful too. The payassam was just boiled vermicelli mixed in milk. The food was cold in the thali and the portions were extremely small. There was no spoon there to fit in the tiny bowls. Struggled to finish the food as we don’t believe in throwing the food away. Awful food, disgusting toilets and flickering lights in the restaurant put us completely off. Do not recommend and would never go there again.

Food is good, background music is lovely (like 90's bollywood songs). Staff is polite and welcoming. Just a suggestion, when seeing South Indian food the first thing comes in mind is Idki Sambhar. Pleas add it in the menu

Excellent authentic Dosa - a tight menu not trying to cater for all who desire an average Bhuna or Rogan Josh. Dosa was extremely well cooked and filled with beautifully spiced masala aloo. Definitely worth a visit for the food rather than a twinkly/ middle class wanky vibe e.g. Tiffin room.

I wanted to have the south indian taste which I found at kerala restaurant. Very happy with the food but the menu is very small and selected. I wish they had more on the menu. Ill be back again soon

I’d give it 0 stars, but in all fairness the dosa was good… the rest not so much. We ordered a tali and it was the worst tali I ever had. Stone cold tapioca, tepid lentil-less Dahl, one, yes one piece /cube of not properly food tandoori chicken and a small pot (mercifully small) of a chicken curry that I am sure came from a packet (3 pieces of chicken). Spoken to two members of staff- a girl lost in translation and a very well spoken but unfortunately patronising gentleman who was sure I had never had South Indian food before. Paid £40 ( did not ask for a rebate) and was offered ‘some chicken curry’ as a gesture of good will, which we politely declined as I had no desire for further packet curry. I would not recommend! I am hungry and very sad for the way in which the beautiful South Indian cuisine was murdered by this chef!

Food is fresh and absolutely superb. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The only slight hang up I had was not knowing the dishes, the descriptions on the menu are brief. The food was fantastic.

had the kerala fish curry and plain naan. curry was very yummy and flavourful, however it was my first time having salmon in fish curry which was interesting to me. plain naan was quite big for £2!staff are friendly and nice 👍🏻i would need to come back and try other dishes for a more well-rounded review!

Visiting friends in Leeds we had a great lunch with them here today. We stuck to the Kerala dishes and they were really tasty. Great friendly service. Clean. Good value for money. We will definitely dine here again.
