M'deena Moroccan Restaurant in Leeds

Extremely slow service, it took 20 mins for our drinks to come out, in fact our starters were served before our drinks!!! The starters were good, so we were looking forward to main course, sadly we get were extremely disappointing. The tagine was obliterated to the point that the meat was like leather and any flavour was undetected by virtue of the fact that the food was still cooking in our mouths. We could hear the microwave whirring and pinging throughout our meal which was not only ruining any atmosphere but also a sign that the food was not fresh. To top it off the lighting is like a take away and there is no authentic decor to give the place any atmosphere, overall we were very unhappy with the night and did not stay for dessert or more drinks. Not recommended.

Loved this place, the food was delicious and the service great. We will be going back again. It seemed dark from the outside but was lovely inside, give it a go

Oily starter .. greasy thin tortilla.. meat dry then charged for sauce which surely should of come with the meats that had none with it

We are regulars at this restaurant, the food is amazing and the staff are so friendly , if you haven’t been give it a go , you won’t be disappointed 😁😁

A wonderful evening, fantastic food and great service. A warm and friendly restaurant which caters for vegan and gluten free. The garlic mushrooms were amazing! Definitely will go again.

My halloumi dish tasted ok, but only had two thin slices of halloumi. I was genuinely looking under the aubergine to see where the rest of it was, but it was nowhere to be seen! My girlfriend's shakshuka was watery and bland. I've been here a few times and it's really hit and miss... seems like they're on poor form at the moment. Hope they get magic back.

This is a lovely restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly and welcoming. As a vegetarian, I've always found it a great place to eat and meet friends. But last night, I was also really pleasantly surprised to see how many dishes on the menu are actually vegan. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing food at M,deena,the Lamb Shank with chickpeas is a must, cooked to perfection. The staff were also spot on.I will definitely be returning very soon
