Miller & Carter, The Old George in Leeds

We tried miller and carter for the first time at The Light in Leeds. The food was excellent, the drinks were lovely and the service was really good. Our waiter was really polite, funny and made us feel really relaxed. Everything was serviced quickly and we got our bill fast too. No waiting around. Will definitely be coming back!

Me and my partner have just been to the Miller and Carter restaurant in Leeds to celebrate our anniversary, and wanted somewhere nice enough to eat, so thought we’d try here for the first time, we were NOT disappointed. From arrival, we were made to feel very welcome by all the lovely staff, however brownie points go to a young man called Bradley, who looked after us all night! (I hope that’s his name because it was on the top of the bill, but the nice gentleman with dark hair and glasses that’s just come back to work today ). He made us feel VERY welcome, from first getting in to the restaurant to leaving, and definitely made us want to return. There aren’t enough people like Bradley, he was very friendly, attentive and efficient with his service, and was always on the ball to make sure we weren’t dying of thirst. Felt like he went above and beyond for us, and deserved a good tip… and a pay rise too should I say😉 The meal itself was lovely, and the credit goes obviously to the chefs working tonight. Everything about our evening went very smoothly, and we will love to return. Possibly the best steakhouse I’ve ever been to, and it wasn’t too expensive either, which is something we’ve always tried to consider if we’ve gone for a nice meal. Usually, we found that we could pay a lot for a meal, but would still go hungry by the end of the night. At miller and carter, we had REALLY good portion sizes (maybe a bit tooo big, but can never complain!!) and we’re definitely full to the say the least, Thank you for a lovely evening!

It was my first time going to miller and Carter in The Light,Leeds . I can honestly say I would definitely go back. The staff were fantastic and very polite. They always made sure you were looked after properly. Made sure that your needs were taken care of. The food was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was fantastic too. I definitely would recommend to anybody who hasn’t been yet.

Really impressed by my visit! Served by Eve who was so lovely, very friendly and attentive. The food was tasty and fresh.

We came here on Valentine’s Day, so understandably it was extremely busy. Despite this, the staff were very attentive and polite. We had an amazing evening, the food was absolutely delicious and every single staff member treated us extremely well. Our waitress was Caitlin L who was lovely and made sure we had everything we wanted. Very impressed to say it was one of the busiest nights of the year!!

Went here at the weekend with friends. As it was my recommendation that decided us and it having been quite a while I was a little nervous. Shouldn’t have been. From the lovely steaks, ribeye for me, sirloin for my friends, everything was excellent. I have to mention our server Maria. Lovely and knowledgeable without being intrusive. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our visit, the lady serving our table (Ava) was great. We opted for the lunch time fixed menu - 2 courses for £12.50 and added 3 side dishes. Can not fault the food we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.The restaurant was decorated nicely for Christmas and is such a good location. Looking forward to our next visit

Staff were friendly, but slow service even though they were very quiet. Food and cocktails well presented, but not much variety in cocktails. Food was nice but was expecting more from the burger considering it is a steakhouse. Only 3 vegetarian options available. My desert was also cold. Will not be coming here again.

Steak was wonderful. Seems pricey (to us Yorkshire folk) but jobs a good un. Well worth it. Onions aren't my thing but the steak my mouth is still watering.

Service was excellent, food was excellent... we all went for the scallops for starters....beautiful.... portion size was ideal. Then came the mains, I went for the T-Bone and it was sensational, asked for it to be medium cooked...so juicy 🤤... chips was lovely peppercorn sauce was lovely. For dessert I had the sticky toffee pudding...WOW.. it was so soft and it came with a delicious ice cream, very nice indeed (forgot to take a photo)... overall 10/10 would recommend this place
