For me the best place for Indian food. Throughly recommend. Good portion sizes too.

Me, my fiancée, Dad and step mum came here and we had poppadoms and the only good condiment was the onions as the mango chutney didn’t taste like mango chutney at all the riata I don’t like anyway but the other one I couldn’t work out what it was but it was so high on vinegar then there was nearly an hour between the poppadoms and our mains and I had a chicken and king prawn bhuna and mushroom rice now the curry could’ve been a lot hotter it was like the curry had just been sat around in the kitchen just cooling down for ages and the rice was hard as rock the only good thing about my main was the naan bread so I’m awfully sorry but I’ll not be coming here again nor would I recommend it to anybody and I’d rate this 2/10 and I even think that’s too high for their standards

Visited here lastnight the food was spot on! And really well priced large portion sizes plenty off meat in the dishes.. couldn’t fault it at all 5 stars!

I guess I may have done a review of Mirchiz before but Google asked for my opinion so here it is.The Mirchiz in Rothwell is a fantastic Indian restaurant with a great menu that stands up amongst some of the finest big city eateries. The staff are super friendly and eager to please. Bring your own alcohol is a bonus too, so not only do you get to eat quality food you save a fortune on the booze 😎 all in all a 5 star experience 👍

This place is great, the staff are so polite and attentive to food is always good and the portion size is good so it delivers excellent value for your money, what's also good is that the menu is changed regularly and new dishes are added so there is always something new to try. Be aware that is is bring your own alcohol (as they don't have a licence) but as far as I know there is no corkage charge and the staff are happy to provide glass's. There are special deals on a Thursday and a Sunday which are great for families but I would recommend calling to book in advance as it can get quite busy.

Just had a fantastic meal was privileged enough to try a new starter dish which tasted amazing, was told they were considering making it as a main course too which i would certainly order. Staff are polite and seem to go above and beyond for their customers. Definitely worth a visit!!!!!

Came last week party of 5, it was that nice we have booked again for this week, garlic naan was outstanding, really good portion sizes and very tasty.

Curry has always been lovely but the last 2 times we've been in/ordered takeaway it hasn't been the best. The chips were scrappy and the onion bahjis/naan bread were cold and dry. Curry tasted lovely but I found a couple of little hairs within the sauce to naturally has put me off eating the rest. We ate in the restaurant a couple of month ago and it wasn't pleasant. We were the only ones in, the staff kept pacing round looking at us and they missed stuff off our order which when I tried to rectify was greeted with a dirty look and no changes. Such a shame as it was always lovely but unfortunately seems to have gone a bit south over the pandemic.

Came here on a recommendation from a friend, and wasn't disappointed. The food was excellent. Perfect starters plenty to eat and amazing flavour. The mains were potentially one of the best curries I've ever had. Would recommend anyone to try.

Delicious food and friendly staff.Edit for May 2019: Prices have increased (menu uploaded) and portion sizes have decreased. Staff still excellent. There is a 3-course special (pic uploaded) on Thursday and Sunday, which has increased to £10.95. Not sure if it's related, but I went yesterday (Wednesday) and there were only 2 other customers while I ate; however, the previous Thursday it was packed.
