Ocean Fisheries in Leeds

Fish isn't good as it's not proper cod or haddock it's pangasus. However the chicken is the best. Abit pricey though.

Nice local chippy on Beeston Hill. Big portions at good prices even after the recent rise. Gets very busy at lunch - I believe it's owned by the same people that run Ali's next door, so they close at 5pm and Ali's takes over from there. It's a pity they don't stay open until 6 or 7 for tea but it's probably a licensing issue. Also bear in mind it's Muslim-owned so no battered sausages etc. However they do offer chicken which most chip shops generally don't. The staff are always friendly and the food is nice and good value.

Nice halal chippie, one of the first in the area. Friendly staff and they are generous with the portions. Pricing is OK. Unfortunately no seating area, quick service

Dont let the decor put you off. Best fish and chips around. Chicken is also very nice and make sure to try the in house mint chutney. Price brilliant. Staff very friendly.
