Old Halfway House in Leeds

Very disappointed, our 1st choice Lasagne arrived and was very poor and was sent back. This was replaced with Chicken Tikka curry and it was no better. Waitress was brilliant throughout and couldn't have been better. Would not return though.

Lovely place, clean and lovely staff. However the food on the menu isn't the best. The lasagne has beef and pork mince in it which makes it taste weird. It would be much better if they did more traditional foods (in my opinion)

Lovely food 😋 great service 👍

We have visited on numerous occasions and have enjoyed fabulous food and brilliant service, however tonight’s visit with members of our family who have never been before was truly terrible. After a good starter (thankfully) we waited an hour and a half for our main course which was over cooked, incomplete and in some parts inedible. One plate had greasy thumbprints all around the edge. Our waitress was fabulous in trying to make amends and none of the issues were her fault, it was embarrassing for her. She tried to offer a round of drinks or free deserts but to be honest we were just ready to leave. We were then offered a discount equivalent to one meal and asked to see the manager but was told she was on lunch. In the end we were given a 50% discount but this does not really compensate for such terrible food. It is unlikely we will be back anytime soon.

Had my daughters babyshower here on 1st May what a lovley place food was so nice and staff and owners were so lovley nothing was any trouble for them definitely recommend for food drinks or small party i did all the table decorations myself witch they let me do and I decorated the rest of the room myself to

Just had a great Sunday lunch here food was lovely, hot and well presented. every table was either full or reserved including the beer garden . I don't like to be rushed so the wait which wasn't that long didn't bother me . The manager dealt with a difficult customer in a very professional manner . Waiting staff were so busy but still polite and helpful .

Loved meal walked in got served quickly meal came promptly. Waitress was very pleasant and helpful nice variety of drinks an reasonable priced too

At last, staff who are in the right job. Helpful, civil, friendly and genuinely care. What a difference this makes to the overall experience. Great selection of drinks and food, and amazing early doors main course options for £6. And no skimping on portions.Great, thanks.😀👍

What can I say but absolutely fabulous food this has been the best meal we have had out in ages and we eat out at alot. Fantastic value for money too get your self booked in

A great local boozer, with an excellent restaurant and good traditional but tasty food. They also have some excellent deals on the meals, but you need to checkout their website. It is popular so recommend booking, if full phone the boss as they can normally get you a table.
