A very popular place to go for dim sum on a weekend which is a good sign that the food is fresh! We ordered a few dishes and they came hot and freshly made! Prices are reasonable compared with other dim sum restaurants. They charge 50p each for Chinese tea which was excellent and it’s unlimited! Great for washing down the food! Friendly staff and clean toilets!!

Nice dining place for a large group of people. Good value for the price and everything tastes oriental. Highly recommend 西湖牛肉羹 (Minced beef thick soup with beaten egg), 四季豆 (stir fried snap bean) and 牛腩煲（beef brisket in casserole).

We went to Oriental City for lunch with a friend on Wednesday 23/02/22. After reading some of the reviews pointing out poor customer service I was initially slightly apprehensive about our choice of venue, but we decided to give it a try and check for ourselves.Nice surprise there. We were seated within 2 minutes and had a waitress with us within next couple of minutes. It didn't take long for our jasmine tea to arrive followed by our food.Our waitress Kola (apologies if spelled incorrectly) was very cheerful and helpful and truly made our lunch a positive experience. Thank you.Overall, i would definitely recommend giving this place a go, especially that it was packed with Asians, which is a good sign when it comes to food right😁, which by the way was also delicious.

Big portion, nice food, cool atmosphere. They do have student discount which is good! However the customer service can be better.

Having not long moved to Leeds I’m always looking for the best spots and I can’t recommend this place enough. Tasty food, excellent service and a great atmosphere. Our waitress was absolutely lovely and was so helpful when recommending dishes to suit our tastes.Will definitely be my go to Chinese in Leeds from now on.

Our favourite Chinese restaurant. It's the closest thing to eating in China. If you're looking for authentic Chinese food there's a menu for that with duck tongue,goose web etc and there is an 'English' menu with old favourites like sweet and sour. The duck stuffed with prawn is a particular favourite.

The Best Hor Fun noodle dishes for 100 miles (I recommend the Special). The Dim Sum is getting better too.

Foods were good and authentic. I had birthday celebration there for my sister this evening, waitress was friendly , decent portion & foods serve very quickly too. I will definitely go back for another meal.. Highly Recommended .

Not the best of Chinese restaurants I have been to in Leeds. The ambience was good not overwhelming. I enjoyed the food though, the buffet was a good option for not so much money.As expected, customer service was poor to which I wasn't surprised.

The interior design to this place is pretty good, loving the classy dark feel to it. I went on Friday lunch and it was quite quiet so didn’t have to wait, as I’d imagine it’s busy during weekend lunch times. The service was great too, very welcoming from all staffs. I had dim sum here and it was mostly good, the dumplings and cheung fun are great. Although their baos/buns are as good as Crown Buffet does it, it’s a bit too doughy/too much pastry and a bit on the sweet side(too sweet). However, both places are of pretty good standards(coming from a regular dim sum eater) but Crown buffet has the more authentic busy Chinese lunch atmosphere but both are great in their own ways. The prices are relatively good too. I’d recommend.
