Pizza Express in Leeds

Ordered a Niçoise salad very disappointed this was my favourite but not now! no tomatoes only one piece of anchovy no capers very small amount of tuna basically just a dish of lettuce leaves not worth £11.95

Good location. Went in school holidays so was packed! Tables too close together and music loud.Pizza average , like warm.

Went with my 11 year old son on a Tuesday evening.Restaurant wasn't overly busy, we were seated very quickly and food ordered & received in good time.Both meals were very good & we'd definitely be happy to return.

Had the 600cal vegetable pizza . Made with whole meal flour. At slimming world and had this as a treat. Didn't feel bloated like when you have a normal pizza. This pizza was very light on the stomach . Plus a cheeky bonus did not put any weight on with this treat.

I really, really wanted to rate Pizza Express well, after not visiting for a few years.The staff were really friendly. But the food was disappointing. Part of the problem is that there are so many great pizza restaurants in Leeds to compare to, and by comparison Pizza Express just seem generic and bland.Although it was quite cheap though at £30 for two pizzas and two drinks. I don't think we'd return in a hurry.

Good staff, good food, good atmosphere.Pizza Express is a good pizza chain who serve the best "chain" Pizzas I've tasted and I can't resist the garlic doughballs. There was a good range of drinks, including non alcoholic.There was a good atmosphere here, although it's a bit echoey, making it very hard to hear what's being said at your own table (although I might just be getting old).The staff were very pleasant, checked in on how we were doing and looked after us, although I got the feeling that they were staffed up for a busy evening which hadn't yet begun (we were eating early).And to, hopefully, make you smile; the best pizza joke ever (well not really)never mind it's too cheesy... That's the biggest problem with pizza jokes, it's all about the delivery…

I had a gluten free pulled pork pizza which was delicious. The ginger and pomegranate non alcoholic drink is fantastic. The service and ambience were great. Top marks.

Me and my girlfriend came here yesterday, after being told one of our pizzas had been dropped on the floor we had to wait another 4 minutes for the other pizza to arrive, the pizza arrived on the plate and the plate had black grease on the side of it, the pizza was floppy.After eating the food from here my girlfriend and I have both been vomiting and have had frequent toilet visits. The service was good but the food just made us both very Ill.

Excellent service, very friendly. Very quick preparing my main course. Noted front of house being particular about place settings, good to see people taking pride in their work!

We tried the new vegan pizza here with jackfruit. The service was good and the pizza was really nice but not a lot of jackfruit on it. Used the O2 deal but would have been annoyed if I had paid full price at £15 when the other vegan pizza is only £10. The tables for 2 are simply not big enough - if you are having any sides with your main like a side salad you have to spend ages juggling things around to fit. There is barely enough room for the main 2 plates.
