Pomfret's of Wetherby in Leeds

It definitely deserves its top spot as Wetherbys best cafe.I visited with 4 other family members, one of whom was a baby.The staff members seated us quickly and were extremely pleasant and polite.We ordered a mixture of coffees, hot chocolate and milkshakes along with eggs Benedict, eggs Royale and ham chips and eggs.The food was beyond excellent. We tasted each others and we couldn't fault any of it You can tell they use quality ingredients and cook them with love.The chips were the best I've tasted anywhere including high end restaurants.We couldn't leave without tasting their jam and cream scones. We weren't disappointed they were scrumptious ( peach Melba ). With plenty of delicious jam and thick clotted cream.We thoroughly recommend Pomfrets of Wetherby and we look forward to returning to try the BLT and other cakes.Thank you all!!

Always make a beeline for Pomfrets as their food is very good quality. You get what you pay for here. Staff always very friendly and it's our no.1 place to eat in Wetherby.

Visited Wetherby on 20.1.22 with me m8 on the MTB 🚴. Decided on this café, very nice Latte and the service from all members of the Team was great. Only problem was we wished we'd sat inside as it was Blumin Freezing that day 😁😁

Lovely brunch today with hubby, and our dog, Brad! Very nice friendly staff, excellent coffee, and pots of tea as well as treats for the dog! Delicious food, was too full though to try the lovely looking cakes! Will definitely recommend and will go back next time we visit Wetherby! 😊

Ideal stopping point mid way south. Coffee and bacon/sausage one way, roast beef baguette on way home. Dog friendly, lovely staff, clean loo.

Highly recommended. Excellent dog friendly Cafe with the most delightful and helpful staff. Good food and beverage menu, see photos. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. There are a few tables inside and also much more outdoor covered seating. Wheelchair friendly in a pedestrianised street.
