2 pints, a G&T and 2 burgers, £40... burger bun was warburtons 12 for £1.50, some chips nice some were like (almost) raw potato. Totally overpriced for what it is. Probably will return in a year and try again but this summer I'll be at the barge

Quaint little pub by the canal. Stopped in for a coffee after a stroll along the canal. Dog and family friendly, lovely polite staff. I imagine this place could be very busy at weekends, we went on a Monday and it was quiet but probably because food is not served Mondays and Tuesdays. Still a lovely place to sit and have a drink after a walk.

Good place to stop after canal walk. Bit tucked away, worth a stop. Outside seating area, dog friendly, bike park area. Often busy on sunny days. Not eaten recently so can't comment on food.

Friendly pub with good atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff. Good choice of food at a reasonable price. It's definitely worth a visit and looking forward to returning...

Lovely spot with nice outdoor seating and lovely food. Beware though it does get very busy at peak times. The South African chef is top and the Beef Brisket is absolutely immense!Has Timmy Taylor's beers on tap and staff are friendly.Visit!

Cute pub to stop after a long walk or bike ride on the canal path nearby. Great outdoor area that’s very dog friendly. They also have a good area to park your bike out front.

Nice oldie style cosy pub great to have a drink after a walk on the canal. Staff very friendly decent priced for a drink.

Mid-week pub lunch - I came here with Hubby and our puppy Obi.We both had the steak and ale pie with chips, mushy peas and a gravy boat. The flavours in the pie filling and the pastry were wonderful however the meat was quite chewy. If the meat had been tender I would mark it 10 out of 10.The Chef came out to ask everyone if they were happy with their food, Hubby replied before me saying that it was lovely. He doesn't like to complain so I didn't comment.Other diners seemed happy enough and I would come back.
