First time here at this friendly cafe and craft shop. Good home made food and great tasting coffee. Very busy place with all tables full. Did not realize that there was outdoor seating at the back in a sheltered courtyard till we left. We will be back to try the cakes soon.

I haven't been for ages due to covid etc so it was particularly pleasant to enjoy an excellent cup of coffee in a quirky setting. The cakes are fab and the adjoining shop sells lovely crafts.

this is a lovely place to get a latte coffee lge' £3,00 (other drinks available), without any children (I've never seen any) food hot/cold available, there's a craft shop to purchase unusual gift's, deserves a try,

We stumbled across this cafe/ shop/ sewing Centre yesterday. The service and food was excellent. It feels like a village hub spot. We had our lunch in the sewing room. The shop sold an eclectic mix of handknits, cards amongst other things. The knitwear was fabulous and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

A former pub, now cafe and craft shop. The menu is fairly typical for a cafe, breakfasts till 11.30am, sandwiches, soups and stews, a selection of cakes and buns on the counter. We had sandwiches and lattes. The coffee was good, food is local themed (scufflers, bubble and squeak, corned beef hash, etc) and we enjoyed ours. Reasonably priced, service friendly. It's quite busy so it may be necessary to book. The craft shop sells little handmade gifts, cards, craft supplies, soaps. Will visit again.

Lovely cafe and good food but staff not very friendly or polite. One of our party was an autistic child and we’re made to feel uncomfortable by the owner. Used to be a more child friendly place.

Lovely afternoon tea for four people. We were served what I think may have been the largest scones ever, which were amazing. Good service, reasonably priced.

We went for a pre-booked afternoon tea for two. The overall atmosphere was lively, the staff were lovely and very helpful, the food selection was ample and spot on and the quality of produce was great. Will definitely go back to try some of the things on the regular menu.

We had a cracking breakfast after a walk at the nearby St. Aidan's nature reserve. The food was good quality - great eggs royale and full English. The staff were welcoming and lovely, coffee really hit the spot and it's a nice place to while away an hour or so!

Such a friendly place to visit. Food and snacks are excellent. Comphy indoor seating, plus outside seating. Craft room and items for sale are lovely, and some bring a smile to ones face. Highly recommended.
