Saffron in Leeds

Overall the food was great ...Charcoaled seabass is definitely recommendedThe fish was Very juicy and tender ...***********************************I prefer charcoal fish to be more crispy than juicy, oily and steamed.Grilled tomatoes do not go well with fish ... Instead, it is better to use grilled vegetables as a side dish or olives and walnuts (zeitoon parvardeh)***********************************It was very crowded because of the Persian New Year and the number of waiters was not enough ...The air inside the restaurant was full of grilling smoke, which was a bit annoying ..‌.**************************************The staff were very polite and kind, even with this amount of hustle and bustle, even at the end the owner came to the table in person to make sure everything was done well.We enjoyed our food.

Absolutely gem of a find. Food portions and taste are authentic and delicious. Baklava in dessert is a real delight and helps put a soothing end to your dining platter. Fortunately, we also got to enjoy some lovely live Persian music as there was a birthday party celebration going on. The dining area is separate from the dance floor, but you will be able to enjoy the groovy music while you munch on your food.

I can't rate this place too highly. Looks understated from the outside but boy it delivers on the service and the food. Staff really helpful with food choices. Down to the most important part, the food is delicious. A word of warning though if you're having a sharing meal do not have a starter or you'll be so stuffed that you'll literally roll out of the place. It deserves more than five stars.

Great place for some Persian food. Good selection of food and healthy portion sizes (just check the photos). Staff are friendly enough and it has a nice atmosphere to the place. Will definitely go again, but maybe order less. 😁

Located in a slightly quieter area but good Persian cuisine and rapid service. Good fresh salad and prices appear reasonable. It's really nice to get a place to serve drinks in glass bottles and not try and charge the earth for them! It can get busy at times and whilst the interior may not be of a starred restaurant, it is mainly for the food and ambience that you go.

Small place, but food was gorgeous. Guy who served us is definitelly one of the nicest people I ever met.

Amazing food!!!Was in Leeds city centre today and wanted to go for food, I'm so glad I chose this place. Prices were reasonable, portions were huge and taste was divine because food was fresh.10/10 reccommmend
