Lovely breakfast, but too much for some! Possibly a good thing? All at a decent price.

Quality produce. Lovely cafe. Good variety on the menu. Nice friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit. Nice lattes too.

Had breakfast there for 5 adults and 2 children this morning. The food was absolutely beautiful, so well cooked and the produce was excellent quality. The staff were all so obliging and really friendly. There is a lovely family feel to the place and I would highly recommend it.

First of visiting, very interesting layout, there were plenty of tables and chairs. The young lady brought us a menu with an excellent choice of food and drinks. There was a very nice deli with various cheeses and over at the other side was a meat counter. All the products reasonably priced.

Fabulous home made pies, and sausage rolls. Lovely cafe with great staff

Been here three times for afternoon tea and each time the food and service has been excellent. Reasonably priced, will definitely visit again.

Six of us had lunch at Samuel Valentine's today and it was enjoyed by everyone. five had the Yorkshire Rarebit and one had roast beef baguette & chips. The butcher sells local meats, and Yorkshire products including a variety of cheeses are sold in the shop. A very pleasant experience.

A favourite little stop for a power-up during a riverside dog walk. Outside covered seating with a hot chocolate and a bacon sarnie as the snow fell around us… bliss!! Great meals and great selection of good Yorkshire snap to take home!!

Despiratley need an extractor fan in the kitchen, whole cafe / shop filled with acrid smoke, really un comfortable to eat in. Breakfast was OK, Bacon was like eating leather, and mushrooms had really funny taste, maybe from a can, but everything else good. Coffee excellent.
