Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. Nice, bright and airy. The food was lovely and arrived in good time and at a reasonable price. Friendly staff.

This restaurant is really looking tired. Service good and so too the food but the restaurant looking quite shabby. This was disappointing especially with the past fame it's enjoyed.

Unfortunately despite its reputation I didn't like it. It was my birthday and I got No smiles or greetings all night until the end when we Coxed some communication. The staff seems fed up and tired. I'm quite a bubbly person but I quickly died inside. And the food was a easy 4 out of 10 for me. Under seasonedSometimes, you just don't get what you pay for.

I was really looking forward to visiting here for the first time after hearing lots of good recommendations in the past.Service was diabolical, food was below standard and no hot water in the building. The restaurant was by no means full and it took almost an hour before we received food and drinks after having to ask to order.Luckily it didn’t spoil our time with our family but we certainly won’t be returning.

First time, loved it. Great service by the staff and order taken by the owner.

Good but fairly expensive. Friends suggested we go there for Friday lunch - I thought it was just another pizza place but is actually an upmarket Italian Restaurant, although they do have pizza. Solid marble tables and real flowers everywhere. You know it is going to be expensive when you need to order fries and peas as separate side orders!Great place for fish and lobster; my sirloin steak was also nicely cooked. There was no fixed price lunch menu so expect to pay about £40 per head (+10% service) for 2 course lunch with a small beer. If you are going large on the lobster/oysters or wading into the extensive drinks/wine menu then expect to pay more. If you are looking for a special leisurely lunch with nice ambience and a bit of a buzz then this is the place. If you're looking for a quick cheap pizza place this is not it!

Something of a local institution, popular as a place to show off as much as eat out. The food is more competent than inspiring with a menu that could have been composed anytime in the last thirty years.Service is surly and unsmiling unless you’ve persevered enough to become a regular. There’s plenty of great places to eat in Leeds, try one of them instead.

Warm welcome and the waiter was great, the starter came fast and was really nice. Then everything went down hill. Poor service, main took an hour, by the time it came it was cold, no one came over to ask how the food was, took forever to finally come over and clear the table, asked for the bill, still no question on how our food was. Main was expensive and didn’t leave a service charge. I would normally tip well and never complain about cost but it was such a terrible experience. Really expected better!

Fantastic meal. We were greeted promptly on a Saturday night. The place was buzzing. The service was attentive and friendly. Food was awesome. I had been talking the place up to my mum and it did not disappoint. We had two courses and all of it was quality. Fillet steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare and the tuna was first class. Flavours in the pasta sauce were cracking. Would come back anytime.

We went for my birthday dinner. The food is delicious, there is a great selection of fresh fish. We got some starters and then the lobster risotto and fish royale for the mains. The service is excellent. The restaurant is beautiful too. Would highly reccommend.
