I hate this place. The food was great not going to lie. But the whole experience was ruined by one of their waiters named "Nikhil" he went there and asked me out on a date in front of my friends. I said no but he insisted and annoyed me a lot. He even followed one of my friends going to the washroom and asked her to talk to me about it which is disgusting. I enjoyed the food but the whole experience was ruined due to that.

Great place for curry. I’ve been trying to move away from the normal chicken and lamb dishes for several years.With some helpful advise from the owner we opted for a fish marsala with fresh garlic cloves - fresh spinach and spices for mains.We also ordered a mix starter for two, but it was ample for three and fantastic value and we enjoyed it (my personal favourite).The meal was wonderful and all spices complemented the fish and not over powered with hot chillies.With a freshly made naan and a paint of Cobra the meal was complete.This is a must to go place as the owner is always available to help with food choices.Excellent experience and friendly staff.

First time visit. Coming from Barnsley was a well worth trip. A good pre gig meal as we were going to Brudenell which is literally around the corner. Will visit again sometime

After not being here for many years I have been twice this week. The staff are really nice and very helpful. Both my dishes were really tasty will be going back to try another curry.

V tasty. What you look for in an Indian Restaurant. Good value. No problems the day after. Singularly lacking in red flock wallpaper and bright red curry.

This has been my regular go-to for a takeaway over the past few years and I believe that the quality of food has recently declined. I picked up my usual choice of food a couple of nights ago and was horrified at the price. I ordered a starter, main and peshwari naan and it came to over £17! Really guys?? 17 quid for a take-out for one person? That's 3 quid more than I paid 2 months ago and the food is simply not worth it sorry. I will be looking for another curry house from now on. Small portions and some indecipherable vegetables in my korma - mostly looks like marrow with a bit of cauliflower thrown in. Not good enough. By a long shot. Very very disappointing.

We had some food delivered tonight for a home birthday celebration. Came in good time! About 40 minutes from order to delivery. Food was so so good, very authentic tasting. I recommend the chicken tikka parathi and the Bombay potatoes. Would defo order again.

We visited this fine establishment on the 27th of November, we had visited before the Boxing Day floods but not been since the reopening.For starters we had seekh kebab, fish pakora, vegetable samosas and onion bhaji (with a proverbial gallon of sauce) and all of them were exquisite.For main I had the chicken and spinach garlic, the seasoning was perfectly balanced, just the right amount of spice and the exquisite burst of sweet tangy flavour from the baby garlic cloves were a definite highlight. The rest of my company had chicken tikka masala (very good, one of the best he has ever eaten), lamb and spinach (amazing, very lean lamb and perfectly cooked and tempered for her chosen heat rating) and the paneer with potato and spinach (simply amazing) all accompanied with 1 portion of pilau rice (between 4 was a good sized portion) and a garlic and coriander naan, which again was a good size.Deserts were shared between us, we had a chocolate bomb kind of thing (name escapes me and like an amateur I forgot the picture!) and a half coconut filled with coconut ice cream.For drinks we had 2 pints of monsoon, 2 pints of cobra and a pint of kingfisher, in total it came to £81.20, which we all thought was astounding value given the quality of the food and the size of the portions.
