Beautiful 2nd time in 3 weeks fish and chips fantastic and the staff are lovely the lady who served us was fantastic I walk with a crutch she made sure I was ok with the table for my leg she was a blond lady but all the staff were fantastic on both visits

I took my family to Skyliners yesterday and I can honestly say the best fish and chips we have had in ages. The chips were hot and crispy soft on the inside the haddock was out of this world, batter just melted in your mouth, so chunky and flakey and the curry sauce was pretty good as well. Thank you to all the team and a very big thank to our waitress Amelia who was so polite and helpful.A must try for the best fish and chips. Hope to see you all soon.

Called here because it's consistently rated highly. To be honest it's average, a bit dear and I've had better. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. It won't let you down but you shouldn't make a special journey. Plus they don't sell potato scallops.

Used the restaurant over the weekend. Given its high reputation and the award of ‘best fish and chips in Yorkshire’ gave them a 3 star on Tripadvisor and explained why.Not the best in Yorkshire, scampi was soggy, chips were dry and scabby, fish was ok but not worth going out of your way for. Praised a member of staff for her hard work but mentioned 1 member of staff was ‘less enthusiastic’ didn’t say he was unenthusiastic. ‘The owner’ didn’t read my feedback correctly, only read what he wanted to see from it and proceeded to call me a keyboard warrior. In that case I’ll act like one.Clearly doesn’t take feedback about the food or staff well so for the unprofessionalism he’s now dropped another star.The owner is rude, the food is over priced and not worth it. Find much better quality else where and cheaper.

I have no idea how this place got best fish and chips award with their awful service, take away sold as wrapped in paper with all the food just being smashed together and good luck trying to put in on a plate or eating that. Food was not great either, everything came out soggy and loads of burnt bits on the chips and on top of that some of the chips were half cooked... Looks like they don't change their frying oil often... And fish was on the super greasy side as well.

How this is in the top 3 rated I will never know. Just called for Sunday chippy tea , got their special of 4 fish and chips plus 2 sides. Opened the wrapping and it's swimming in grease. Black bits all over the food. Chips were OK ...bit overcooked but the fish was dried up and batter burnt. I expected so much better. Gravy is like P#$S. Wish we'd drove to murgatroyds now! Certainly won't be rushing back .

Got this place recommended by a local whilst walking past so decided to try, ate my food in a pleasant little patio/courtyard area outside, I ranked it amongst the best I’ve enjoyed, the only downside were the slightly watery mushy peas plus the fish was on the small side, apart from that, very good and friendly pleasant staff.

Really delicious fish in a crispy batter. Friendly efficient service. Really glad I tried this place.

Food was absolutely delicious. Seafood Platter is to die for.Staff were friendly & although been VERY busy, they did a great job.4 Adults + drinks, less the £80. Great value. We will return.

Ordered fish and chips twice. Got home 2 mins down road, and batter stuck to greaseproof paper. Chips flaccid.Honestly, home cooked (from frozen) I've had better Fish & Chips. Look at one of the fish sizes!? That should have been a kids/OAP fish.
