Stables Pub in Leeds

Really nice place and a great outdoor seating area. On last visit though service not so great. One drink never arrived and the bill took an age.

Waited for ages, people who arrived at the same time as us were served, the next table arrive around 15 minutes after us and were promptly served, tables around us were getting service but not us. I eventually went to the bar, to be told rudely that it was table service only and they would send someone out. We waited another 10 minutes and then left. They were busy but not that busy, and there was plenty of staff.

Messed up the order (no appology but they resolved it), messed up the bill (overcharged by £5, again no appology). To say that the food was rubbish would be an understatement. If you are coming here for a drink it's probably ok but the service and the food is terrible.

We hadn't booked but got a table inside in the middle of a weekday afternoon. We enjoyed our chat over a cup of tea and the cake was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I don't normally leave reviews but Absolutely terrible service today ordered drink and after 30 mins waiting and complaining 4 times told they don't have the drink we ordered and told they are busy...When we complained another party of people got up and totally agreed and walked outThere was a maximum 20 people sat in the bar and i could have served all of them myself quicker...I asked for manager and was told Will have to wait lolAvoid this place

We've always liked this place and it gets even better. Good Covid safety measures - lots of sanitiser, table service, staff wearing masks etc. Plenty of outdoor seating. Plus a great range of craft beer that's going to expand further.

Haven't been in years until recently and it's so much better than it was! Lots of great beer on, and everyone was getting a warm welcome (and a temperature check).

Interesting venue, limited but tasty menu, food service a bit slow even though not busy in early afternoon weekday (over 20 mins) and then the fish pie had to be sent back because it was cold. The saving grace was a good beer selection including Leeds Best.

After a long warm walk with a few friends we decided to nip into the stables pub today for a drink on our way back home. I never normally leave reviews but I just have to express how wonderfulThe service was. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much to ask, I had a fussy friend who couldn’t decide on a drink and the lady with the blonde bobbed hair and black dress, (sorry didn’t catch her name) was excellent in helping her decide, she made us laugh and the whole atmosphere of the pub was just fabulous. We will be making it a regular pit stop for our walks, can’t recommend enough!Thank you!

The food is OK. I ordered a steak and kidney pudding and got an upside down pie ! No matter. The staff are lovely, and the beer is good. The atmosphere can be a bit corporate due to spill-over from the conference centre next door, but on a cold, wet evening in Leeds it is a cosy sanctuary.
