Stew and Oyster in Leeds

Decent ales & food was both different and good. Very cold though. We left early for that reason.

Nice atmosphere inside and out. Lovely riverside setting. Good selection of beers but if you are driving, you must have something other than Diet Coke as they don’t serve it.

Wasn't too busy so was a nice place to go for drinks where you could actually hear people speaking. Very relaxed on. Wednesday night.

Always nice to have a pint in front of the Aire. Good views, good beers and you can have oysters if you fancy!

Good drinks and great service. Highly recommend the peach lambic. Dog friendly 👍🏼

Came in for a drink, we didn't book and to be fair to them they found us a table outside as weather was perfect. Unfortunately the tables are completely covered in bird poo. No attempt to clean them. Even poo all over the seats. There is a tree directly above which can't be helped. Needs a timber framed gazebo to shelter all the tables. View is amazing and this would solve the problem. Can't give anymore than 2star because of this. No menus either which make it challenging. Sorry

The best place I've been in Leeds. Staff was a 10 👌. We had breakfast and I couldn't believe how good it was for the price that we paid!!! Everything, even the beans, are homemade. I highly recommend.

Beer ok, lovely point of Theaksons, great stew but the whole place wants a good clean. The tables and chairs very sticky, as though they haven't been cleaned in months. If they got the establishment as good as the products they sell, this would be worthy of 4 or 5 stars.

Really friendly staff, very tasty food and large selection of drinks. Kitsch decor. It was raining when we visited, but it has a good location by the river, thus would imagine its great on a sunny day.

Fine beer and oysters. Chicken and chorizo stew lacked depth. The stock needs some work. Great staff and location. Well worth a visit.
