Came to Greek Street for an All That Glitters brunch. Came 5 minutes early for our booking but still had to wait a further 7 minutes after the booking was started. Drink orders were then not placed for 10 minutes after sitting down. When we finally managed to order it was only because we called someone over. Drinks and food came out fast - which would have been amazing except we received a) the wrong food order and b) no glass or straw was received for the lightbulb moment drink. After the wrong food was received, it took another 10 minutes for the replacement to come out, by which time the other food had gone cold No safety precautions were explained and we had to ASK how to make the colour changing drink as the waiter forgot to tell us. We were waiting over 20 minutes after we finished our first drinks to place our second drink order. When we managed to order staff were rude and unwelcoming and made us feel like we were inconveniencing them (even though all we wanted them to do was their jobs). Third drink went smoothly and waitress approached us rather than us having to beg for her attention. Took 30 minutes for this drink to come though, which was understandable as could see how busy the bar was at this point. Finished our drinks and waited for the bill….. FOR 27 minutes (yes, we timed it). Manager walked past so we called him over to make a complaint. While we made the complaint he was smirking and laughing. Ended up with a full refund in the end which was adequate at best, and waitress didn’t apologise for service and simply said ‘you can leave’ when we enquired about our bill. Did I mention this booking was for a surprise birthday meal? What a great present! Thank you for an awful time.

Good service, top drinks both cocktails and mocktails and decent food. A great atmosphere during the afternoon. Meetings done for the day so a good place to catchup for lunch and enjoy a few before a busy weekend ahead.

Wow! First time trying this place and was NOT disappointed! The food was amazing, the cocktails were ridiculously inventive and amazing, I think I have found my new favourite place, seen a lot of comment saying it's pricey, I think you get what you pay for tbh, we have 3 cocktails, a glass of wine, 2 starters, 2 mains and 1 desert and came to around £80 which is not bad at all! Thanks for an amazing experience

A very modern menu which perhaps wasn't really to our taste. We thought the steak was a bit expensive so went for a cheaper option. The pork scratching nibbles were very nice but could have done with a bit more spring onion. However. if you like Heston Blumenthal style cocktails then this is the place to be. Very pleasant staff and clean toilets that are on ground level.

The food was lovely (I had a cheese burger) but it was a tad on the pricey side. We ordered lots of different cocktails and they all looked really cool- with smoke, colour changing ones, bubbling ones and ones served in interesting glasses. I ordered a drink and it tasted horrendous, I couldn't drink it. I can't remember what it was called though. But it had pineapple and banana and smoke in it.However the woo lagoon is a lovely drink and the most others are good. I know this as I have been to many other alchemists- most in London. Also the interior itself looked lovely and I felt very welcomed and looked after by our waitress.

Came with a party of 12 for my wife's 30th. Loved the food and the drinks were great. However, the service was not what we expected. We understood that there is a wait on drinks on a Saturday, but some of our party had to wait over an hour for drinks and had even eaten before receiving their first drink too. Many apologies from the staff but felt like they could have done more hence why we took the tip off the bill.

My first experience in an alchemist amd it was fantastic. Really good fun and great cocktails. Yes it is expensive but you get some theatre and an experience as we as a proper cocktail.Possibly is the best cocktail bar that I have been to, definitely the best cocktails. The bar in Greek Street was large and comfortable. We were there whilst it was quiet so had choice of seating.I would definitely recommend especially if you have never been before.
