Cheapish beer, lovely building. Some real characters would definitely recommend for people watching

Really friendly staff, quiet, fireplaces with wood fire glowing, love the 'digital detox' rule.

Loved this pub. It is cash only, but the bar staff were happy to provide the drinks and keep my wife as collateral while I nipped to the cash machine! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff and patrons. Love it here, will be back next time I'm in Leeds. A great escape from the madness that is Briggate

Nice unique layout with old fashioned separate rooms so plenty of options to sit apart or with groups when not too busy rather than large, often noisy, open plan. Draft fizzy drinks are not very nice, very poor quality. £17 for two pints, one double vodka and coke and 2 bags of crisps seemed expensive but it is in a city centre so that's probably why. Cash only bar is not convenient. Staff were nice.

Lovely pub with great beer. Tables outside in alley. Loads of character and a good atmosphere.

Old fashioned pub. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. Down a ginnel (narrow alleyway) off Brigate between Lloyd's bank and Fat Face. Hidden treasure, worth a visit. Note, cash only.

A rather strange bar in some ways in the heart of Leeds. The clientele are somewhat eclectic and prone to bursting into tuneless song every now and again. But the beer is cheap and the no swearing rule is rather endearing! Perhaps pop in once or twice to be entertained!

Very nice bar. Good selection of Sam Smith's ales and beers at very good prices for central Leeds. Upstairs is a nice lounge with two fire places. Also has a nice smoking area in the entry where the bar is based. Doesn't serve food as far as I know.
