The most overrated fish and chip shop in the area.Food was greasy. Portion sizes were small in comparison to other fish and chip shops. Disappointing.The shop looks like a dive. Needs a good clean and upgrade

Good sized portions, more appropriately priced compared to others in the area and excellent gluten-free options too.

Moved to alwoodley over a year ago but still used to drive to street lane for my fish and chips. Tonight I couldn't be arsed so gave this place a try. Won't be schlepping to street lane any more. The food was delicious and two lots of fish and chips and a fish was only £15. Really impressed. Give it a try if you haven't already.

Good fish and chips. Generous portions. Sometimes we have one portion of chips for 3 people. Place seems clean. Service is friendly and fairly quick.

I started in this business back in 1977 so i know abit about a good quality fish and chips. And must say been here a few times now and there are fantastic fried fresh no grease whats so ever . Quick friendly service good prices good parking.
