Really nice pub. Loads of outdoor seating. Nice view of the church. Food was really really nice and tje chef went out of his way to cook for us when stopped serving. Dog friendly which is always a five star!

Slightly above average price for this kind of establishment, but worth the money. Nice surroundings, very friendly staff and lovely food. Well worth a try.

Excellent. Sunday lunch was v good value. Loads of different veg, plus stuffing. Staff were very pleasant and attentive. Chicken in a bun looked good as well.

Food was delicious as usual. 😋 however I found booking a table not easy. The website they use wasn't that friendly to navigate around although I did manage it eventually. I left a message asking Boundary to ring me back so I could book over the phone. No call was forthcoming. I just wonder for those who don't have access to the Internet how they go about booking 🤔

My 1st time here and I was mpressed . I had the Spanish burger and chips. It came with a portion of coleslawThe 8 oz burger was thick rasty and it was juicy, the chips were very nice too

A really classy pub with good food, if a bit on the pricey side. The service is great with friendly and attentive staff. Lots of seating with a good bar and restaurant area (book in advance if going for food). There is also an extensive outside area with benches and a decking area

Spacious, clean, well-presented restaurant. Very pleasant service. Barnsley chop was perfectly delicious. Amazing dessert - gooey chocolate pud with superb ice-cream cup. Everybody else enjoyed their dinner, but mine was BEST ☺

Lovely location and lovely outdoors seating.Recently dined indoors, on a Wednesday. The food was lovely and the portion sizes were pleasantly generous. Lovely staff too.

Visiting on Saturday night for dinner with my Husband, my Husband checked the menu before our visit, decided he would like the Barnsley Chop dish, price £18, when we were given the menu, thiswas no longer on the menu & had been replaced by Lamb Rump at £23, not a problem.We ordered our drinks, looked at the menu & decided I would have the Chicken dish, price £18, my Husband settled for the Steak pie, both very tasty.We ordered 2 more drinks, then asked for our bill, it arrived with the 4 drinks & the food, unfortunately my Chicken dish was listed as £22 on the bill, when it came time to pay, I asked for a menu to check the price, the waitress asked if there was a problem & I explained my dish was £18 on the menu. This was a £4 overcharged, she took the bill away & reprinted, now my meal was £18, she explained she couldn’t understand why this happened because the till was programmed. When afterwards explaining the evening to my daughter In law, she had a similar experience, the excuse this time was, they had been given the wrong bill. This could have been a overcharge of approximately £30.Please make sure you check your bill before just handing over your cards.I was upset & annoyed at this, felt like they were trying to put a few pounds on in hope people wouldn’t notice after a few drinks.My Husband would never go to a restaurant without always leaving a generous tip, but unfortunately I was so annoyed, I walked out without tipping.I do still feel a little guilty because the food & service were faultless.Honesty is always the best.Sorry we won’t be returning.

Absolutely love this place!!!! What's not to love!! Amazing range of spirits, wines, lagers and ales and some fantastic cocktails. A lovely snug area for drinks and a great beer garden with an outside bar and plenty of seating.The food!!!! I have never had a bad meal here! What an amazing selection, cooked fresh and everything tastes great. Tonight we had the chicken flat bread and the mushroom and chestnut pasta. Taste sensation!Fantastic service, quick, polite and the team always have a smile on their face. As for the pricing...spot on!!! I guarantee you won't find a better place for food and drinks and atmosphere in the area. Huge huge fan!! Of course I'll be back!!Oh and the Sunday Dinner.....amazing!!!!
