Can't comment on the hotel rooms but have had a very enjoyable meal there this evening. Excellent food with friendly service by the staff. 5 stars will deserved.

Lovely food, nice surroundings but poor service. Pre-booked a table for brunch. On arrival we were shown to a table in the dingiest corner of the building with no natural light. Wouldn't have minded if the place was full, but there was not one other person sat at a table. Asked if it would be possible to sit at any of the number of empty tables near the windows or the more central floor area and was abruptly told no, they were for lunch bookings. I said that I had booked and was here now and there was nobody else in the building but was again told no and I didn't want the table I was given I could sit outside but it wouldn't be table service. Opted to sit outside but when I went back In to place an order there was quite a wait until any staff appeared. (There was still no customers sat inside). The food was very nice, but 2 of the orders were incorrect. Staff were surly, bordering on rude. By the time we left, there were still no customers sat inside.

We visited for food and waited an hour and a half for food, then half the food came out cold. Drinks took half an hour to arrive from ordering upon arrival. Starters had no taste and not worth the value. One main was asked not to have the mushroom sauce and came out covered in it. Staff didn't seem to care when complained until the manager came over. Usually visit this place often but will not be going back and will be recommending for people not to visit. It is a shame you can not leave a 0 star rating.

We had a fantastic trip here today. Really pleasant staff, chilled out / relaxed, excellent quality food. We just had a really nice lunch and we were able to move our reservation due to weather/traffic issues.I'd heartily recommend this gem of a place. And with the snow fall, just some really excellent views if Yorkshire ♥️

Nice setting for a pub. Downside is that it's food is overpriced. It's menu is geared towards evening meals with a small limited lunch options. This ain't no 5 star establishment. Whilst it is set in nice grounds and building, there is very little value for money. To charge nearly £8 for a fish finger sandwich or £13.50 for hunters chicken snitzel with no veg, the Calverley Arms are taking the Michael. You are a suburban pub set in outskirts of Leeds and not the Yorkshire dales.

What a shambles this meal was!! Arrived at 6.15 our booked time to be told our table wasn't ready !? , the server unfortunately can't remember her name was good , the duck pate was funky , kofta kebabs , small , hunters chicken was dry and just looked deep-fried and I could have made better, veg bourginoin was dry, we eventually left at 8.45 , how does a meal take 2.5hours when it wasn't even majorly busy!! Very much doubt we'll be back, terrible ! Only plus was they knocked money off the bill

Excellent. Ate in with my family and the staff were so attentive and lovely and the chef was incredibly kind to my fussy mum. Ive also just had a delivery of lobster fishcakes and a hunters chicken which made me feel like i had my own high class chef in the house. Absolutely beautiful food. Nicely presented and so fresh, tasty and juicy. The chef should be real proud.

Went here for my Grandad’s 90th birthday and it was amazing! We booked it for 29 people and they set aside a section for us. They gave us part of the menu to pick so they could get the meals ready. All the food was great and everyone enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and it was a great party 🎉!
